I been to Taiwan and loved it more than Japan I had more fun in Taipei than Tokyo I was wondering if I should I visit the mainland

China rocks and has way more going on than Taiwan, but it's not as accommodating to foreigners. Both are great, China's cool enough to be worth the extra hassle imo

If you loved Taiwan, you'll love China like double the amount.

Hong Kong, Shenzen, Shanghi, and skip Beijing. Its boring as fuck. Go into the Uyghurs region as it has more soul than the Asian parts of China.
