Imageboards feel so dead lately. Where do weirdos, losers, nerds and outcasts of the world with common interests and a strong dislike for normgroids even congregate these days?inb4 twatter (I refuse to post there on principle)
4chan has been dead since tsd days
>>226045987They got married, got a job and now have sex every night
>>226046132The hack last year or whenever it happened did quite a bit of damage and probably scared a fuckload of people away, though I noticed the decline in activity even before that. Things were kinda fun around covid (2020-2022) when we had a huge influx of posters, but most of those people probably went back to their daily grind once gubbermints started lifting lockdowns.>>226046164>4channers>Getting marriedHighly dubious claims.
>>226045987Nowhere, these days are gone.
>>226045987Identity politics killed all true fun.If you didn't specialize in some nerd field before 30, you're never finding them again.
>>226046619It's probably true. Fuck. I need an outlet that can satisfy my ADHD-addled brain's constant need for yapping and neuron activation that can only be achieved by consooming highly specific content.>>226046675I imagine quite a few people that would otherwise post on ib's got sucked into some private server with other lonely dweebs and get their daily dose of socialization that way. Discord/telegram/whatever and their consequences have been a disaster for online communities.
They probably went into other walled gardens of social media outlets for the worse or better
>>226045987I use a couple of esoteric chatrooms and text RPGs. There are cool real people there. But many of those places suffer from discorditis. Many of the real people I know just sit in discord/telegram groups with three people in and it's as healthy as krokodil. Sometimes they do break out of their bubbles and you really see how it fucks them up.
>>226047620Yea, the popularization and mass adoption of messengers with private servers was a mistake.>>226047943That and these days a lot of people probably prefer talking to some AI chatbot over interacting with real human beings too. I wouldn't be surprised if the next generation grew up not knowing how to interact with another human being properly at all, spending their entire lives talking to a bot. What a fucking dystopian nightmare of a timeline we're living in.
>calling anyone normgroids>posting chainslop transhuh?
>>226048283Be quiet now, little piggy.
I wish this place was 10x faster it would be heaven
>>226046213>>4channers>>Getting married>Highly dubious claims.Well, he's right. I got married, I live off my wife's salary, and I travel on her money. Until recently, I spent all my time on 4chan.
>>226045987In theory, you can make a new imageboard, but let AI LLM bots do most of the posts and replies. I think they are good enough to do that now. People won't notice.
>>226048429I feel old. I think I wouldn't be able to keep up with such speed nowadays.
>>226048543Well you can stop being old
