ZAGREB - A Serbian citizen (23) posted a photo on a motorbike from Croatia with three fingers raised, and was expelled from the country.

The police filed an indictment against him with a fine of 700 euros.

On Friday, a Serbian citizen posted a photo on social media in which he poses with three fingers raised while riding a motorbike, which is interpreted as a nationalist symbol in Croatia.

The photo shows him standing on a motorcycle with both hands raised, which, according to the police, was a violation of public order and peace.

On Sunday, Split police found him and stopped him in traffic, allegedly because he had broken the law by gesturing. It was determined that the motorcycle he was riding had technical defects, so he was removed from traffic, Croatian media reported.

The young man was ordered to be expelled from Croatia and banned from entering the countries of the European Union and the European Economic Area.

It means you show support for a certain cartel that uses that sign.

The holy trinity and the two natures of Christ.
Or three people's (serbs, croats, bosniaks) two of which have to go.

I mean, in the context, it was probably a provocation and he was doing it knowing that, especially when they do it around Operation Storm day around Knin and Vukovar.

>banned from entering the countries of the European Union and the European Economic Area

So he would not be tortured by ALL the cartels, at least one of them would give him drugs and bundas aplenty.

Not really, no, but a judge can rule it as nationalist gesture that "offends public peace" and no one will complain. I do think it's nonsensical because it's not a specifically 90s Chetnik or anti-Croat gesture unless someone is, without a doubt, intentionally trying to be provoke or offend. For example, if an Albanian was doing the eagle gesture thing, no one would bat an eye at it. Same thing happened with the bilingual tables. By Croatian law, if an ethnic minority is an area is large enough, public institutions and similar need to put at signs/tables containing the minority language alongside Croatian. It's done in Istria with no problems, town halls ever fly an Italian flag, but once they attempted putting up tables with Serbian and Cyrillic, people smashed then and protested, I don't think the law was ever enforced. It's a double standard, definitely, but politicians don't want to lose nationalist votes so they play blind.
