Buy a house? Perhaps in some total shithole, but they usually lack a burger place. Pay for rent? Yeah, absolutly, I had no issues doing that, and I didnt even work fulltime.

House would be difficult but apartments are dirt cheap here. You can buy a 2 bedroom apartment for like 4 months wages in many smaller towns/cities here.
