sometimes I get asked for money by a beggar and most of the time I ignore them or I tell them I have nothing to give them, but I usually feel pretty bad
I've given money before, but not when being approached. I can't really tell always when they're trying to scam you
I remember a few weeks ago when I just ignored and didn't even look at the beggar, it must've felt dehumanizing and terrible to them, but how do I know if they're really in a bad situation, like they were kicked out by their parents or something like that?

no, those people are a part of an organized crime ring from Romania which also engages in pickpocketing

I have no obligation to them, and most of them are methheads. Sometimes when I have spare pocket change I give it to them or when I buy a pizza I give them a slice.

I've closed my heart to pity

I've only seen those romanian gypsy criminals twice in my life.

You feel bad because you have misplaced empathy and an abundance of resources.

Don't have street beggars in my city anymore because they are rounded up and sent to camps. Old, mentally ill, and handicapped people are sent to care facilities, addicts are sent to rehab, and able bodied people are forced to learn a trade.

Current begging meta is for handicapped people to get on private sector buses and make speeches about their hardships and ask for a donation. They probably use the money for drugs, but I used to give a small amount in case they really needed it.

nah
>>
>>226059400
I used to but now not really. I'm not doing so well myself. I give them a couple of bucks when they ask me sometimes and they say "hey you're alright" but most of the time i just mind my own business

i never thought i'd say this, but I hope it’s a fetish video

No. As a adult man, in this world, if you are broke, nobody will pity you, or help you.
One must be stingy with his money
>>
I don't even look at most of them. Probably even more than them being druggies or insane, I think what really gets me is
>Hey man
>What's up
>How you doin
Being jaded, in knowing there's a 0% chance you'll ever randomly reach out to me for a good reason. Definitely not when they're insistent about it anyway. Yeah, sometimes they're not even bums, just wanting me to sign a petition or raise funds for the junior basketball league. The intent remains
>>
>>226059400
I do feel bad. I used to help whenever I could, but I got a bit jaded from it all. I have a hard time trusting people nowadays.
I still help sometimes, but it depends. I always feel bad for not helping though, unless the person acts like a douche and demands help.
>>
>>226059400
they'll just use it to buy drugs, there's no point
>>
>>226059400
Depends on the beggar. I remember regularly givine one a dollar as a kid, then I witnessed him dealing drugs and robbing another beggar who was OD'ing off what he sold him. I also helped regularly helped a homeless woman, she protected me from a dog that another homeless owned. She unfortunately got killed 20 years ago.
>>
>>226059400
Yes IMC, but people think you're weird or retarded or getting scammed and I have social anxiety so I try to only do it when no one is watching which can be difficult. Also sometimes its embarrassing because they are too thankful and it makes you feel uncomfortable.
>>
>>226059400
No. one of them even tried to assault me for refusing to give him money. Lucky for me I know how to defend myself, now imagine that brown assaulting weak people. fuck them. I hate when people give them money, it would go on drugs and repeat the cycle
>>
>>226059400
No, I think they are all part of organized crime (Albanian beggar gangs) and all the money you give them will be collected by the mafia and given to their boss.
>>
>>226059400
I just sigh and think why are you here go home
>>
>>226059400
i usually ask them if they want food, some of them sit around in the parking lot of the local m&s. if they sound genuine enough i'll buy them like £10-15 worth of food
i'm also black btw
>>
You guys have beggers?
