Has AI become detested in your country?

yes. finally the bubble is popping. they only had to burn a few hundred billion dollars to figure out it will never be profitable. my government went all in on ai, they listened way too much to tech bros

It seems good to me idk what y'all are on

They should have found better spokespeople than a bunch of Jews sneering how you're about to be turned into serfs and that they deserve RAM more than you, or a bunch of panicking Jews crying about how AI is going to kill everyone
>>
>>226062492
whats it good for? all the free models suck ass and im not paying for it. it screams "scam" to me
i dont need to use ai for anything. it gets in my way more than its helped me
>>
Good. China will win the AI race. They wont allow people in their country to do nonsense like this.
>>
>>226063070
America has 5x as many data centers as China
The Chinese government ruled companies cannot fire people and replace them with AI

I made a bunch of language flashcards, fixed up some shit on my home server, got book recommendations, you can ask it about weird cultural shit you read on /int/, you can ask it to pull macroeconomic data, financial data, polling data and it's much faster than google, basic wikipedia level history and science is way faster to review, you can take a photo of a textbook and ask about it, you can talk to the OpenAI one for language speaking practice, I've asked it for some quick recipes and having it written out keeps me organized while I cook, I've used it once or twice to proofread emails, I've used it to help with legal shit involving an estate, etc etc. Right now I mostly use Claude with "effort" set to "extra" and I haven't paid a cent.

He definitely does and has the biggest god complex too but I've been surprised to find that his company is 20% less sheisty than I had thought (half Italian perhaps)

We really need another Pol Pot but for techfaggots

>>226062127
This self-teaching automaton trained on billions of pieces of data available for free to anyone with a computer scares you? You're just like these people that burnt down spinning jennies when technology was made out of wood.

174. On the other hand it is possible that human control over the machines may be retained. In
that case the average man may have control over certain private machines of his own, such as his
car or his personal computer, but control over large systems of machines will be in the hands of a
tiny elite—just as it is today, but with two differences. Due to improved techniques the elite will
have greater control over the masses; and because human work will no longer be necessary the
masses will be superfluous, a useless burden on the system. If the elite is ruthless they may simply
decide to exterminate the mass of humanity. If they are humane they may use propaganda or other
psychological or biological techniques to reduce the birth rate until the mass of humanity becomes
extinct, leaving the world to the elite. Or, if the elite consists of soft-hearted liberals, they may
decide to play the role of good shepherds to the rest of the human race. They will see to it that
everyone’s physical needs are satisfied, that all children are raised under psychologically hygienic
conditions, that everyone has a wholesome hobby to keep him busy, and that anyone who may
become dissatisfied undergoes “treatment” to cure his “problem.” Of course, life will be so
purposeless that people will have to be biologically or psychologically engineered either to remove
their need for the power process or to make them “sublimate” their drive for power into some
harmless hobby. These engineered human beings may be happy in such a society, but they most
certainly will not be free. They will have been reduced to the status of domestic animals.

AI wouldn't be as hated if it weren't for billionaire oligarchs openly gloating about how many thousands of people they're firing and how they're going to enslave everyone with it.

By the way, these same oligarchs get very VERY mad when you use AI against them. AI has been used to reverse-engineer very expensive subscription-only software that many corporations depend on for revenue.
A lot of the time it's the employer that is being replaced by AI, not the employee, as many skilled people decide to use AI to help them start earning money on their own without the need of a corporation and their useless managers.

Can you explain why you guys dont like AI i dont get it

Why do data centres make people seethe so much?
>>
>>226064399
Why do AI sloppers seethe so much that consumers aren't paying for AI generated media? It's the situation with NFTs again

Fyi your AI meta is 2 years outdated already. The new meta is to have AI agents do a bunch of automations for you or any project that you’re working on. You can also easily vibe code specific software that you need that maybe you can’t find anywhere else to the specification you want
>>
>>226064137
those spinning jennies unironically caused more missery per capita at the time.
>>
>>226064399
It’s just slopulism, anti data center people think that it will use all the freshwater around then and give them ass cancer or whatnot
>>
>>226065085
What should I have them automate though. I don't think I need more software, I guess I could have it do some custom web scraping on a schedule.

the point is it gets better and better every year and makes less errors, and if you own your farm you could make it do your accounting or look at your taxes for exemple
>>
Actually the software I would most like outside of work is mainline Linux for phone but I ain't paying for that
>>
>>226065152
Yes I get this dilemma too, I know many email job people have grokbot write response emails for them. For me for example I was thinking of doing a semi-automated process for job search.
We’re not at the point yet where grokbot can fold and iron laundry, but maybe well be there sooner than you think

Why is this always used as an insult? The luddites were completely correct, the industrial revolution brought about untold amounts of death and suffering for 150 years until socialists and unions rose up and made reforms. All the worst conditions you see in shithole sweatshops and mines today were also in western countries at the time.

Goy fatigue

>>226065251
Not nearly as much as you might think and we only have limited control over those factors, unlike local datacenters.

Anyways, every single datacenter construction project in Finland is currently frozen and pending legislation change. They're being dropped to the absolute bottom of priority list when it comes to electricity and grid connections.
