I could blend in reasonably well in Spain as a Mexican, but when I actually got there literally everyone was white. Not even the sort of tanned skin with dark hair "white" that looks a bit brown, I mean full blown white people with pale skin and green eyes. I'm not even that dark skinned myself and I still look like a Mayan that just stepped foot out of the jungle next to these people. Yet whenever Spain gets brought up on this board you'd think it was an Islamic caliphate with how people talk about Spaniards and their appearance. Why do people lie about this country so much here?
