I roadtripped through Brazil in June 2025 (Sao Paulo, Sao Sebastiao, Paraty, and Rio). Ever since then I have thought about Brazil at least once every single day and how I want to go back. I'm obsessed with Brazilian music & culture. I love it so much that I wanna break up with my gf and find a Brazilian wife so I can get Brazilian citizenship and live there. I'm a native Spanish speaker so I think I would assimilate well.
Brazil was the comfiest country with the most friendly people that I ever visited. I love Brazil I am obsessed with it and I can't wait to visit again. Brazilians are so lucky.......
>>
Spanish speakers have a thick accent when speaking Portuguese tho
>>
I'm glad you're back, bro. Enjoy your trip.

No interest in seeing the northeast?

I have the lencois maranheses bookmarked. I would visit it maybe on a 3rd trip... mostly because I feel like it's so large and lots of things are spread out that I would need a lot more time to explore it.

Cool. I've only been to São Paulo once but only for a few hours. I was taking an exam there. Didn't see anything. I should go back sometime. What made you like Brazil so much, anon?

I'm really into UFC and ever since Alex Pereira joined the org I followed his career and thought he was so cool and started looking into Brazil more. I started listening to Brazilian music (tim maia, seu jorge, roberto carlos are some examples). I just started appreciating the Brazilian aesthetic so much and made the decision to visit the country, which was one of the best decisions I ever made. Brazil is just so cool and I love how similar Portuguese is to Spanish so it made it easy for me to visit and interact with locals when I was there.

I was genuinely impressed seeing the central parts of Sao Paulo and Rio, they look almost like NYC, no European city even stands close to them, you can just feel their wealth with your eyes. Avenida Paulista alone has more skyscrapers than all European capital cities I guess.

São Paulo is the richest city in all of Latin America. What did you expect? Wooden shacks?
>>

>the richest city in all of Latin America.
well, that just doesn't sound like something wow, you know, Latin America doesn't have the opinion of the wealthiest place on earth

but yeah, SP does look stunning

I see, it makes sense. I forgot the northern coast of the northeast is getting a lot of attention now, I usually forget them, kek. I was thinking the Natal-Salvador corridor
