goofy ahh seibah
oi mate are ye comin' tae play foot-bowl with me and Seiba?
Why did Bazett close her eyes when Kuro kissed her? Kuro herself did not do it.
Besides Iskandar (who is canonically bisexual) and Kayneth (who was afraid of being cheated on), how many other male characters comment on Diarmuid Ua Duibhne's beauty?
>>50925236She was too pure for this world. Lancer is the opposite I think, he will do almost anything if it serves a practical purpose. I can respect both point of views>>50927116Arc posters appreciated
mahoyo movie
>>50926902He ain’t gay he just admires male beauty
>>50927116Very strong smell.
How do you read Mahoyo? First finish the main story, then read all the extra scenes? Or read the extra scenes in between after each episode?
>>50928937Read extra scenes between each episode.
>>50928937Yeah, read them as they unlock. not sure why they bothered making them optional honestly, other than the all-about-ploys
>>50928945>not sure why they bothered making them optionalI think for pacing reasons maybe. Some of them are like 30 minute standalone short stories, like the one about Soujuurou's mysterious part-time job. Might not have fit that well into the flow of the main story.
So I'm reading through Fate/Stay Night for the first time, and I never would have guessed that Taiga would be this fucking based. I'm loving her more than the main girls.
Twilumina predictions>Touko because Mario story tease>Alice since Kuonji manor seems to be a stage>Arihiko with Nanako for Kagetsu Tohya stuff, there's a school stage and Satsuki probably isn't available yet despite Noel story tease>Nero but he's a dead Japanese school girl>Nanaya Shiki who's repeatedly been teased>A Fate tie in no one wants while we ask for EMIYA, probably Richard
you're doing it wrong you dumb bitchneeds to be reminded of Timothy 2:12 by our favorite father
>>50929615>>Alice since Kuonji manor seems to be a stageThat's clearly the Tohno greenhouse.
>>50928136He's pretty much alone on appreciating Diarmuid's beauty, tho. The only other people are Iskandar (a canonically bisexual man and Kayneth, apparently (who had reasons to notice his beauty, in some kind of way).
As much as I like the way Tsukihime is written, I'm very happy it's a visual novel and the adaptation sucks anyway because because it's very hard to take Shiki seriously when you actually look at him. He works really well as a kind of Poe/Lovecraft protagonist but he doesn't have the appearance to match so seeing pretty boy whiney edgy fucko just throws all the delerium/paranoia/insanity he's good at depicting out of the window. At least very little of that matters in Melty. But still, have him look like a fuckin' weirdo, it's fine, it'd be more charming anyway. Don't have to make him outwardly ugly either, Yukito in AIR accomplished similar (though that wasn't a horror game)
wtf did I just read >50929810
Shouldn't her name be Noelle?
>>50929380I think you're reading the old translation btw. There is a newer one (remastered) which some people would consider to be the better one I think.
>>50929810>But still, have him look like a fuckin' weirdo>it's fineNo, it's not you dumbass foid. Shiki is supposed to be a Japanese pretty boy, he's called handsome multiple times so making him look goofy would be retarded. Remake Shiki looks okay, Nanaya was more handsome though.
>>50929615Imagine Ulimited Codes Archer but good.
>>50929961You're asking too much from Nasu.
>>50929891>>50930161Well like I said, you don't have to make him look like an ugly bastard. SHIKI, Roa and Nanaya are conventionally beautiful as well but are still designed to look off with the eyes. Shiki has "cute" pretty boy eyes instead, so you them you take seriously but Shiki just looks like a fucking joke. I mean shit you could just have him look like Nanaya with glasses on and normal pupils and that'd probably work just fine.
>>50930090Everyone told me that the remastered version on steam is censored. I'm against all forms of censorship, so i downloaded the version that's on nyaa.
>>50926902OP, can you stop being a miserable faggot and posting the exact same fucking bait word to word?
>>50929615Nrvnqsr is in the VN and will appear in Red Garden, they won't bother making a Japanese girl stand in given he'll be added in whenever RG drops. The backlash on the Fate servants was horrendous, I hope we don't get any. If any Fate characters are going to be added they should add Hansa and Kirei for example.
>>50931151The censorship in Fate and UBW routes don't matter. The H-Scenes add nothing. They're important for HF, but the main problem is the translations on the non remastered versions are really bad. If you ask me, read HF uncensored, read Fate and UBW censored.
>>50931257Don't care. Fuck censorship and fuck you for making excuses for it.
You might as well learn Japanese to get the definitive TYPE-MOON experience.
>>50931267Isn't the remastered version literally what Nasu wants you to read and what he considers kanon?
>>50931295see >>50931267
>>50931267Net positives, young retard. Would you seriously trade a significantly better localization for Rin masturbating to Shirou and Saber fucking? Do you think that adds ANYTHING to the plot? It hurts HF but that's it. Nowhere else is anything of substance lost. Do you read Visual Novels for their story, or to just jerk off? Also, FSN has been censored since like 2006 with Realta Nua. It isn't anything new.
>>50931314Please refer again to >>50931267
>>50931295He sees OG FSN as the 95% finished release and Realta Nua (the censored PS2 release with voice acting and more CGs and some other stuff) as the 100% finished definitive one. Seems like OP is really interested in dickworms though, seeing how adamantly against censorship he is. Either way, ideally you'd have someone porting over the remaster localization with some minor changes and fixes to the Realta Nua Ultimate Edition with an option to toggle h-scenes on and off for the first two routes. I'm afraid Tohsaka's defenseless anus isn't exactly the peak of Nasu's literary achievements.
>>50931331>I'm afraid Tohsaka's defenseless anus isn't exactly the peak of Nasu's literary achievements. But you have to admit that it is iconic though.
>>50931318When what's being censored are cheaply justified sex scenes (mana transfer is a meme for a reason) to make the game sell that add near nothing to the story as a whole (a few hours at best in an 80 hour VN) and what you gain is better localization not shat out by some ESL learning Japanese it doesn't exactly make a good case for you. Do you fucking play VNs to jerk off to h-scenes, which barely make up 2% of the entire runtime?
>>50931346Again, please read >>50931267 once more.
>>50931338For all the wrong reasons unfortunately...It's like Nasu subconsciously activates his evil alter ego who can't write for shit whenever he's writing smut that doesn't involve an SA victim (there are still quite bad examples in those but they are still better than whatever the hell the rest are supposed to be)
>>50931362>SA victimYou're on 4chan, anon. You can say sexual abuse. You don't have to censor yourself. I know you have thing for censorship, but the corporation isn't in the room with us right now.
>>50931352Answer the fucking question, what do you read VNs for? Or stories in general? I hate sounding like those morons who say "Do you play games to jerk off? Just watch porn!" but you might as well watch porn because it doesn't add anything to the plot except in HF as I said
>>50931374Rape victims, whatever. I just didn't feel like typing it out.>Censorship = Corpo???The only reason these games have h scenes is for them to sell. It was a necessity but Nasu was fine with it. 2012 Mahoyo released on only PC, if he was such a sucker for h-scenes he would've released it with some. (It's almost as if it's based on an LN that didn't have any! Wow!)
>>50931381If you must know, I prefer to read the original, unfiltered versions of media. Because again, fuck censorship. I am an adult, I don't need to be shielded from heavy topics or sex scenes. I don't care what Nasu does or does not consider canon. If I'm going to read Fate/Stay night, then I'm going to read the original 2004 version of the work.
>>50931400Corporations are the reason why media nowadays is so censored and sanitized. I thought that shit was obvious, but it seems to me that you're a mindless consumer. I suggest you do some research into the topic.
>>50931408Better turn off voices then.
>>50931408Dickworms.
>>50931408>then I'm going to read the original 2004 version of the work Then go read the original 2004 version.
>>50931226Once someone gives me a canon answer. No one was able to do so, so far.
>>50931314NTA.>Would you seriously trade a significantly better localization for Rin masturbating to Shirou and Saber fucking?Yes. "Mansplaining," btw the way.
>>50931765And don't forget that the fist line in the remaster is a fucking mistranslation. It calls Lancer's spear a sword. Better translation my fucking ass.
Rin fingering Saber and eating sloppy seconds is fundamental for her character, unironically.
Heaven's Feel is butchered in Realta Nua badly enough I'd never recommend it over the original even with the worse translation. There's a reason Ufo's anime adapted the original version and not the RN version.>Just read the remaster for two routes then switch to the original and download a save file for HFYou're not gonna convince anyone to do that. what >>50931331 suggests would be the ideal, but until someone makes that, reading the OG is better.
Firmly grasping Lancer’s spear
>>50932285*sword
That anti ero anon is so annoying. I probably wouldn't have played tsukihime and fate if not for them.
>Is that the mirrror moon translation!? Yikes! What would Nasu say!?Fuck off.
>>50932449Honestly I was hard at many Ataraxia scenes (bath Saber, pajama Rin, Sakura-Rider threesome, heck even the scene where you clean Rider despite not being H), but FSN and Tsuki were atrocious.
Crazy how he's gonna be playable in Twomina
>>50933656And it only took a quarter of a century.
>>50933127Tsukihime ones are mostly good for me. I like Rin's scene and Saber's second scene in fsn, also the not-Rin one.H-scenes always feel like the reward that you get for playing the game, even for the games that I skip through them.
Been a few months, but I got Kohakuriko 5's scans uploaded, so technically all the books are online in some form or another. I've had the book for ages, I just had no desire to do any scanning. Considering I don't really trust how the others were translated, I'll probably try to get the raws of those uploaded someday, probably not any time soon. I don't have 7 iirc, and there's a whole bunch of side stuff I could scan as well.https://e-hentai.org/g/3928984/17f9ecc1eb/
>>50933678...and having his moveset robbed by Warc and the Akihas.Brutal.>largest moveset in the VN>get culled in favor of giving Warc and the Akihas more movesWhoever decided to add in fucking SEIFUKU AKIHA instead of him deserves to have a pipe shoved up their ass. Seriously. At least Type Lumina fixes Warc using oni blood moves in favor of funny Gaia energy ones.
>>50932070>You're not gonna convince anyone to do thatYou'd be surprised. Can't deny that it is a bother though.>>50931800That is regrettable, but besides a few small errors like this (most of them being present in the fantls anyway) and negligible term inconsistencies (e.g. workshop in UBW, atelier in HF) it is overall noticably better than the fan translations. Also, MirrorMoon's OG Tsuki translation is pretty sub par too. I suppose this is another reason to prefer the remake over the original, though I know how this thread feels about the topic (picrel)
>>50934163If you want to be a bitch about translation errors, OG Tsukihime's MirrorMoon translation translates Shiki saying "This must be a dream" to "This must be a nightmare", which is far more important to the scene and the character than the type of weapon Shirou is about to be plot armor'd from not getting killed by again, yet you guys would suck it off anyway not knowing any better. But this is ultimately fruitless. I heard there were people working to mod the Steam release into a flexible Ultimate Edition like the Realta Nua one, but I haven't heard anything since. Does anyone know anything about it?
>>50933656Maybe tri lumina. Even if we get some Red Garden content in twi, SHIKI is easily the character most locked out by the VN. We have better odds on Satsuki since they might say fuck it since Noel's story teased her previously and they can release some alternate version of her later after Red Garden.
>>50933843Thanks anon.
I can still cope that RG's being released before Twi Lumina and they just haven't announced it yet.
>>50934180>>50934163>>50931800>>50932070>english translationsHmmmmm
>>50934573It's hard being an EOP.
>>50934637Harder than becoming a JSL even. And yet.
>>50934163Don't care. Both the official and fan made translations have errors, but the fact that the fan translation is uncensored makes it the automatic pick for me. If this upsets you, then you're just going to have to get over it.
Let's do this, King of /tmg/. Do you have enough baits in stock?

How can some people in this thread be against absolute kino like this?
Wtf, only after finishing my second read of Mahoyo do I now read about Soujuurou having supposedly been raised by an assassin organization in the mountains. Though I don't get why they would just let him leave like that after questioning the purpose of it all, as it was implied in the novel.
>>50936106The order never tells the kids the purpose of their upbringing while training. This means they don't incur security risk when releasing them. Soujurou developing self awareness makes him a future risk once he puts that together with the purpose of the order once he becomes active. Removing him from the order by placing him in society is, if not humane, actually less dangerous because he can't reveal their secrets due to not knowing them, but also frames his vanishing as no different from the other children that vanished from the mountain when they potentially become real assassins. Far as anyone is concerned the entire situation is business as usual this way.God I hope I spoilered that correctly. I'm on my phone and I haven't manually input it in ages.
>>50935496gay people
>>50936170Maybe his "harmlessness" was also a factor (eg. Yuika couldn't see him). He might have been viewed as not being a good candidate psychologically (even if he can be violent when he sees it as necessary).
>>50936106They taught him how to assassinate bears.
>>50936106>>50936170Pretty sure detailes were left out on purpose to later be filled in in the sequels. Like many other lingering questions in the novel.>>50936264My impression was that that lack of ill will was a purposeful result of his upbringing. This is a setting where something like 'murderous intent' could be felt even by someone like Shirou, so it'd make sense to train such things out of to-be assassins. Like I imagine that Yuika wouldn't be able to 'see' Souichirou either.
Do you think Archer hates having white hair.
I'm sorry Aoko. I came into Mahoyo for you but Alice is better.

>>50937067Not everyone is naturally suited to learning languages, let alone a difficult oriental one with three fucking alphabets
>>50936975Rin is the bossiest tsundere bitch, Aoko is just harsh by nature but isn't as much of a bitch/tsun as Rin and Akiha is honestly the most evil one, she's more of a sadist and a monster than the other two but she's also the least tsun since she instantly drops it whenever glasses Shiki is in distress. Pretty dumb way to put it but yeah. Akiha's tsun-isms are a result of her being groomed to be the family head, not because she was made to be a mage/magician, so she's going to differ, also because she's a DEMON! Scary, huh.
>>50935234TM powerscaling discussions in a nutshell. Also 2/3rds of literally anything Artoria stans say.
>>50939164Aoko also has a somewhat sadistic side, even if one doesn't see it often, eg. when Soujuurou is working in the garden while they watch from the mansion and she ends up ordering him around like a servant, choking him and telling him how they will erase his memories.
>>50937326~300 pages, the vn might have like four times as much text. Still would be interesting to read the original and of course the follow up novels.
>>50936975Akiha and Rin want the dick and they get it. Aoko is a kissless virgin.
>>50936975Akiha and Rin want tits and they get it. Aoko is a kissless straight virgin.
When did the decline of Nasu begin for you?
>>50939280Wasn't the VN like 1/3 of the original novel? At least that would explain Nasu's (former) plans to make a VN trilogy out of Mahoyo
>>50939953Immediately after FSN but then Mahoyo made me believe again and then a decade and some passed...
>>50940008I think he conceived the entire story as a trilogy but the first novel seems to have about 300 pages which is normal light novel volume. But maybe he also wrote the other two novels already, I'm not sure if this is really officially known.
>>50940174>the real story will begin in the 2nd partoh boy...
you can't compare actual game companies to glorified doujin circles like TM
>>50940200The time from Type-Moon's founding to the first release of Mahoyo is shorter than the announcement of the remake to today.
>>50940200Yeah, you can't compare a soulless corpo machine to the soulful doujin circles. Nasu basically has the equivalent of a mom and pop store.
>>50940565>I just don't like to look at my previous works>It feels like the old Nasu Kinoko has passed onThat's probably part of what makes his current method - realizing ideas he came up with decades ago - so slow and difficult. He says he's not the same person who created Tsukihime/Mahoyo anymore. He even says he doesn't like to look at his old stuff. And yet he has to get in synch with his past self to create these works now. Mahoyo proved he can do it but reading between the lines here this excerpt makes it sounds like it's not a very fun process for him. Just coming up with something new that's an expression of his current self might be a more natural creative process, but then again he says he is much more virtuous now which one could interpret as more boring lol. Maybe in the end he prefers his old ideas.
>>50940565>It feels like the old Nasu Kinoko has passed on.Oh no no no no no
>>50940814Miyazaki doesn’t know what he’s doing anymore
>>50940174>>50940565What happened?
>>50939960>Antennas
>>50940674He's a retard who has been dishing out bottom quality slop for FGO for over a decade. It's not about the old him being gone, it's about the new him not giving a fuck about creative integrity anymore and instead slaving away at gachas. The old him he speaks of is his more edgy attitude or whatever, it's different now with his updated worldview. It's not hard for him to write this shit, we nearly got Mahoyo, CCC and Tsukihime Remake back to back, he literally just doesn't care and thinks he can do it whenever and sees it as a passion project, he loves his ugly golden goose FGO too, he's just very submissive and is afraid of change and does whatever he's told despite being "the boss", Takeuchi had to nudge him to work on BGM, Aniplex pushes him around for FGO all the time, you get the picture. If Twi-Lumina is a more serious Melty game (like OG Melty but better) we'll see if unc still has it, since it'll basically be the first new thing he's made besides FGO in almost a decade.
>>50939246That's because she comes from a mage background. While Akiha is proficient in the use of magecraft, she is not culturally a mage. Also she's a bitch who hates his actual brother and lets Kohaku ruin both her brothers' lives due to vicarious guilt over what her dad did (who she hated already?)
>>50939953Everybody knows it started with Extra. I don't even hate Extra or CCC but every bad aspect of modern Nasu started there.Only reason Mahoyo didn't have those things was because it's a quantum remake of shit he wrote 900 years ago
>>50942659I mean, all of Nasu's best works are a rewrite of stuff that he wrote in high school
>>50939952Why's there so much Akiha/Kohaku fanart?
In my heart, I don't think of Kohaku and Hisui was real heroines.
Finally started the Ciel route in Remake. Am I going crazy or is one of the guys that pushes you from the elevator Arihiko?
>>50943486Arihiko talks with the same informal delinquent accent but he's a good boy.
>>50941384This doesn't look like an FGO NA character.
>>50942659He stepped into Extra last minute, and obviously he had to use Extra for CCC. Not denying that a lot of FGO-isms started here but it's not fully his fault, his biggest sin lies in perpetuating slop

If Fate was never a porn game and even putting aside Sakura sex happening even in RN, Shirou actually frames things through sex way more than any other TM protagonist does. Like I'm pretty sure at the start of Fate, Sakura's tits are already melting his brain and it's a point that he's trying to resist that. Shirou has a really active libido.

An aspect of Satsuki that I really like is how it's made clear that she wasn't all there before getting bit but because of how little Shiki knew her, the extent of which is kept deliberately vague. I'm curious how red garden will handle that since while of course it was how she was originally intended to be expanded upon, I do really like how that vagueness impacts vampire Satsuki because save for killing people it isn't made clear how much it actually changed her psychology.
>when you haven't murdered anyone for 5 minutes
>>50946738I feel like there's a lot of Satsuki's character that's influenced by late 90's Japanese societal ennui and edginess. She has a reputation of being the good natured class idol but she's not fulfilled by it and is playing a role to an extent, which is why she's attracted to Shiki and goes looking for him at night. Coincidentally, earlier in the thread people were quoting Nasu talking about how his outlook has changed and I wonder how he'll write her route now that he's clearly less disillusioned.Although come to think of it there was that scene in the remake where Arihiko can clearly sense something off about her and warns Shiki to keep some distance or else both him and Satsuki will end up unhappy, which sounds about right.
Fujos are such ratty creatures
>>50924844If I want to enjoy the story of Melty Blood, which games should I play in what order? Are there specific characters I should or should not play?
>>50947395For the original:Tsukihime > Kagetsu Tohya > Melty Blood Re-Act (Story Mode and then Arcade) > Melty Blood Act Cadenza > Melty Blood Actress Again (preferably read Kara no Kyoukai before this as its main character is present here)For the remake: Tsukihime Remake > Type Lumina (pretty simple, huh?)Some of Type Lumina presumes you've already played through the OG melty games so take that as you will
>>50947274Take this as you will...

>>50947615Thank you very much! I completely forgot about the remakes and that they would have a different order for the story, so thank you for including them as well!
I have a friend who says I should try getting into Fate, and to start with tsukihime before that, what is general opinion here? Anime good or strictly start with the VN?Newfag to otaku stuff btw (besides the "normie stuff" that was around on the internet like a decade ago, like touhou memes and music)
>>50948195>and to start with tsukihime before thatUnless you wanted to not read Fate because you've already hit the peak, I'd say it'd make more sense to play ONE and Kanon first. And then MOON for the sake of completion, then maybe Dosei and then Mystery House.Quarter/spoiler] joking aside, yes VN onry.
Is this true that this is the only pic of Nasu available online?
>>50948206idk if it's the alcohol, english not my first language or me just being retarded but I don't really understand. Tsukihime is not really needed, but I should start with other VN's as a starting point for Fate?
>>50948256If you want to read Fate just start with the Fate stay night visual novel.
>>50948256Other anon was not me but his point is correct. I like Tsukihime far more than Fate and have practically no interest in the latter whatsoever. Personally, I think it makes more sense to play the games that directly inspired it before it than it does to play it before Fate. Which also isn't at all necessary mind you but it makes more sense to me than the Fate thing does. Said games being Kanon and particularly ONE (though Kanon's my favorite of the two anyway and you'll still notice a few things directly taken from it in Tsukhime). MOON is the game the people behind the other two did before ONE, also notable is that it's also a horror game vastly different from the rest of KEY's repertoire (though Nasu to my knowledge has never even mentioned it).Dosei and Mystery House were jokes, the former being essentially the first KEY eroge and the latter being the first game Roberta and Ken Williams made. It was unofficially translated/remade for Japanese computers which kickstarted what Japanese adventure games became.
>>50948223Yeah.
>>50948299>(though Kanon's my favorite of the two anyway and you'll still notice a few things directly taken from it in Tsukhime).Like what?
>>50948299Afaik Nasu was also inspired by Cross Channel
Seiba
>>50948825The role reversal with bleeding out in a clearing in the middle of the woods and whose perspective you're seeing during it comes to mind, which is the only one I can remember off the top of my head but there were a couple of others that jumped at me the first time around. One of them were the regular parallels between Ciel and Mai but because I know Ciel was based on stuff Nasu'd already written, I'm sure those are just coincidences/common themes.
>>50949558I don't get it. The other two girls also have eye powers?
>>50948195I got lambasted here for posting a reading order, but it is best if you go through the "order of making" to not miss any references and to not be left scratching your head when they come up.So, assuming you're willing to go through these titles (most of which are great):Mahoyo (on Steam)KnK LN (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1EDcmkYOeolwnhM5ex50E-sGh4JuAmhpY)If you like it, you can watch the anime afterwards (https://nyaa.si/view/2079423)Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya (readtsukihi.me) (KT kinda sucks especially when compared to everything else so if you're not patient or don't like gagshit filler/tsuki in general you can just read the side stories online, it's where the game peaks funnily enough)You can play Melty Blood for more Tsuki content, but it's not as necessary for Fate stuff. Then, Fate. Remastered has the best localization but the third route sucks on it, so you can either choose to do the first two on the remaster and the last one on the ultimate edition (I can send you a save for it on the fifth day if you want, which is roughly when the censors start kicking in)Then read Hollow Ataraxia which is best read on Steam. This will give you the best view of the general world of TMverse or Nasuverse or w/e, and you'll be able to cherish the parallels, references and whatever when you read Fate. It's not really a Higurashi > Umineko difference, though the Fate VN is more or less a Mahoyo remake. If you really want to read Fate, you can read it first but you'll miss out on some stuff. It's ideal to read as much as you can before most Fate titles, especially if you want to read Strange Fake. I'd recommend AT LEAST Tsukihime if you don't want to read through what I've listed. Read the remake of Tsukihime AFTER the original whenever you want, assuming you have the time.
>>50948223No there's a few more, we just don't know his actual name.
>>50947666He almost killed SHIKI and massacred an entire hospital in the Remake... It's going to be SO amusing to see people's reactions upon finding out that Shiki was always Roa all along before he got transferred to SHIKI.
>>50949414So, talking to pretty much the entire thread here, if you really want people to enter it with parallels why not just tell them to read Mahoyo and KnK first? KnK's main villain is literally the blueprint for EVERY Nasu villain, and that's just one example.
>>50949679Don't respond to them. That anon is deliberately acting like a retard.

Considering how horny Rin is, it’s very unrealistic that she hasn’t forced herself on Archer.
>>50948299I remember seeing ages ago in /tmg/ or on the Untranslated VN General a pic with screenshots comparing Tsukihime lines with Kizuato lines, in Japanese. Apparently the post was meant to show that Nasu straight-up took some lines from other VN to his doujin work, basically calling him out as a "hack"
>>50950772I'm breaking my own self-imposed rule here by actually posting, but I actually have played both games and Tsukihime is so much better than Kizuato that it's not even funny. To be clear, I only played the original Kizuato (supposedly the later remakes are differnet) but regardless that's the only version that's applicable for this comparison. The surface-level premise of both games are kinda similar and Chizuru's route can be said to be a bit like Akiha's route but that's about where it ends. The writing in Kizuato is significantly worse with a lot of dull sol scenes and overly long character introductions. It also commits one of the cardinals in VN writing by having the last route be the worst one and have what maybe could have been a good twist revealed in the laziest and dumbest way possible. Overall, I found it shockingly bad considering that Shizuku, which preceded it and was written by the same people, was actually quite good.Anyways, the original Tsukihime was no doubt inspired by stuff from early Key and Leaf, but it's miles, miles better than the original Kizuato.
>>50950822I personally don't doubt that Tsukihime is much better written than Kizuato, I'm just wondering if Nasu actually read Kizuato and 'copied' some of the ideas or not.
>>50950979Nasu hadn't played Kizuato but Takeuchi had and he apparently told Nasu that Akiha's route reminded him of it when he read the script,
>>50950979Read it? Almost certainly. It has an important place in history. Copied? You could make the argument that Nasu lifted Shiki seeing dreams of SHIKI killing people and the horror aspect surrounding it from Kouichi having a similar problem with him seeing the killer's murders. Kizuato does this in a very surface level way though and it's quickly dispelled. Nothing like the depths of madness that Shiki endures throughout the VN.
>>50951021Oh really? I always assumed Nasu was inspired by the denpa stuff in Shizuku and Kizuato. If he hadn't actually read either one, that's kind of an impressive coincidence.
>>50951044Nasu said he read Shizuku sometime after finishing the Half Moon edition of Tsukihime, so maybe that influenced some of the crazy Hisui route scenes.
Red Garden this October for sure, right?
>>50951480yes, you unlock it in Super Street Fighter II by beating the original Pac-Man upside down
>>50951480I envy your optimism.
>>50951501Fuuuck I thought you had to unlock Waluigi in Mario 64 DS to get it>>50951505It's not really optimism, Twi-Lumina's release window being as soon as it is just made me think something with it might be happening later this year. Fortunately for me I have zero investment in this because I haven't even read Blue Glass Moon and probably won't until Red Garden or a PC port comes out
https://x.com/flyKiller33/status/2054225266357026854
>>50951636Are there any hopes for a PC/Steam port?
>>50951872Funny thing is the console version is a port of the PC version. they have no plans to release it since "tsukihime is meant to be experienced on the television" >Famitsu: Tsukihime - a piece of blue glass moon (shortened as Tsukihime remake) is finally released. Tell us your impressions.>Takeuchi: Seeing all of you finally being able to play the Tsukihime remake fills us with the greatest relief. We always celebrated a finished job right before releasing it, but this time it was different. After making the PC version, we started a project to port it to the Switch and the PS4. We finished the main part of the PC version at the end of 2020, so that's the moment where we felt the most accomplished.>Nasu: Same here. I was done developing the game's main story by the end of 2020, so that's when I felt the joy of reaching a peak. After, all I had to do for January was writing the bonus segments...Tsukihime OG, Kagetsu Tohya, Melty Blood, Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Hollow, Mahoyo, Fate/EXTRA, etc were built on Windows.
>>50951879The reason it's not being released is most certainly due to Red Garden not being out. They ported FSN, FHA and remastered Mahoyo on PC, they said they'd release Tsukire on PC but we still haven't seen anything come out of it, I'm betting on Nasu wanting the "complete" experience be sold on PC probably to avoid selling RG as DLC but instead to sell it as a full game
>>50951636It's optimism. There's always at least a 6 month marketing window for whatever big title they're going to release from the moment it's announced. IF we're getting it around Twi-Lumina it's either December (Mahoyo movie is also releasing that month so doubtful) or in early 2027. Of course, this is most likely just FPan being competent, even if they technically can't add in characters without Nasu telling them to, sadly there's still a lot they can do without Red Garden characters and spoilers, even if it's far less.
>>50951937Make sure to keep your hopes as low as possible. Kamone is competent. French Bread is competent. Nasu isn't. Studio BB isn't. Lasagna isn't. It sucks and I hope I'm wrong but Nasu is a sellout, a fraud and a deadbeat....pic not related
>>50951930>>50951879The director for the Mahoyo VN left TM because they wouldn't let him work on the Tsukihime Remake so even if they do ever make a continuation don't expect it to be of the same quality, since he was the guy pushing for all that shit. In the interview, he essentially compares the making of Mahoyo to that of a glassmaker due of the delicacy of the work. Meanwhile, he mentioned that the first part of Tsukihime, being twice the size of Mahoyo would have taken an additional year of production if produced in the same way as Mahoyo (very optimistic imo). That's why they had to change the way they processed things for the remake. Tsukuri Monoji>http://tsukikan.com/misc/4gamer-interview-with-mahou-tsukai-no-yoru-staff.html
>2009Canned Dogs translated a recent blog post by Hideo Kojima in which he talks about his meeting with Kinoko Nasu and Takashi Takeuchi, the cofounders of Type-Moon - The meeting only lasted for a short while, but the meeting was pure enjoyment and I have not had something like that in a while. It was the first time we met but I felt like we had already known each other for a long time, I felt a kind of affinity that was like deja vu. It’s a special privilege that only creators have. Even when age or race are completely different, we can still understand each other instantly when we have the same "smell." Even though we’re from completely different areas, it does raise my spirits to get to know people who are working really hard and suffering in agony but continue to still create new work. It makes me feel that I have to continue working just as hard as they are too!
>>50951939>It sucks and I hope I'm wrong but Nasu is a sellout, a fraud and a deadbeat.Things could be much worse if you look at Yoshimune Kouki and the Muv-Luv franchise (sold/lost control of the IP). At least TsukiR is happening and a Mahoyo sequel is still at least possible.

>>50952100>Elden Ring guyThat explains the UBW spell.
>>50952111Wrong, this is a reference to Vergil's summoned arrows from DMC1/3/4/5.Marais Executioner Sword is very similar to Ea, and of course you have the Leda design being reminiscent of Seiba and some other stuff. UBW was most certainly taken straight from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Several enemies possess the ability to hurl flying weapons at you exactly identical to how Gil and Garcher do it, and Alucard can even obtain the sword of the Flying Armor to do the same. I plan to do a video on what was taken from/influenced by Castlevania in Nasu's works, and then a video on how Nasu's works influenced Miyazaki's, I'm currently gathering footage but it won't come out any time soon, I could yap for a while but it's better that I shit it out here when I'm done.
>>50952125It really goes far deeper than any of you guys can imagine and I was very shocked that nobody had done a video on it before, unless it's really obscure or something. The vast majority of TM YouTube is trash and TM works in general suffer from misinfo everywhere from word of mouth lies and hearsay to the wiki itself being wrong. But I digress.
>>50952125Wasn't Archer inspired by Dante?
>>50952145Of course. So was Enhance. But my point stands.
>>50952125>I could yap for a whilePlease do Castlevania bro
>>50952164I suppose I could talk a bit about it, though it'd ultimately be pointless to make the video if I said everything there is to say.Let's start with this:It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that every vampire in Tsukihime was influenced by Castlevania's Dracula and Alucard. For example, Arcueid. Besides the glaring name similarity to Alucard (A Kagetsu Tohya loading screen draws the attention to her name sounding like Dracula to be a coincidence, though this could be a subtle joke to say that it sounds like Alucard instead, Arukuedo/Arukado), Arcueid's role as the "good" vampire is more or less identical to Alucard's. Though the evil father isn't actively on earth wreaking havoc anymore, she slumbers all the time until Roa (who is more or less an evil Alucard with some Dracula characteristics) resurrects, mirroring the start of SOTN where Alucard awakens from his 300 year slumber upon Dracula resurrecting in that game. The design similarities are also all over both characters, while Arcueid has short blond hair and red eyes, she originally had long blond hair before it was stolen by Altrouge, and she also has golden mystic eyes, Alucard himself having long blond hair with yellow eyes (in the remake, her irises aren't bloodshot anymore when she activates her eyes, so they look even more like his). What about Roa then? He's a very odd vampire who is adamantly and stubbornly clinging to his humanity through each reincarnation. He still views himself as human despite his status as a Dead Apostle, due to going through a "natural" cycle of life and death whenever he incarnates. When you say "Vampire with long blond hair who is vehemently clinging to his human side instead of his vampire side", who exactly comes to mind? Curious, isn't it?It is also important to note that while yes, Nasu had wanted to write Tsukihime for quite a long time by 2000, likely predating even SOTN's release, just not being able to piece it together properly, Roa and Crimson Moon are both originally characters from a prototype of Notes, and Tsukihime was originally about a middle aged man hunting Arcueid and raping a bunch of high schoolers while he was at it. Oh and Nasu had a Playstation before writing Tsukihime, so it's basically guaranteed that he played through SOTN.Then we have Nrvnqsr Chaos. I am of the belief that Nasu read the line where Alucard states that the castle is chaotic in nature, hence its ever-changing layout and general appearance whenever it rises again, and turned that idea into Nrvnqsr. He cannot determine which familiar will come out of his Reality Marble, which is more or less in-line with the unpredictability of Dracula's Castle's layout (his monsters are also reminiscent of some Castlevania ones but this doesn't matter too much). He's also turned into an insane monster massacring countless humans (though he does it for energy here, not for revenge) due to being a vampire for so long. Still not convinced? It's a tall haughty vampire obsessed with power (to be more specific the only thing he cares about is finishing his magecraft theory and also turning the world into a primordial sea but that's not too relavant right now) who throws shit at you from his coat and laughs while he submerges into goo, becoming invincible while he does so, until he rises back up again in Melty Blood. Come on.Warachia is an extremely blatant example and the most shameless ripoff besides Vlad III in Apocrypha. Not that I'm complaining, I love the guy. But seriously, he's LITERALLY Dracula. 500 year old vampire who resurrects from time to time, of course the TATARI aspect of him is mostly original, but the appearance you know him by is him literally pretending to be the mythical vampire Dracula from the rumors spread around the time he died since in the lore the vampire Dracula doesn't exist beyond well... myths spun around by his enemies and the work of novelists after his death. But besides that, the whole arsenal is here:He has fireballs he can throw from his cape, he teleports around, he can summon previously fought bosses (something final boss Dracula does in SOTN) and his design just screams Dracula overall. The TATARI storyline is more or less a blend of Rondo of Blood and Castlevania 2, Sion (Sion, Simon, funny huh?) is "cursed" (bitten but doesn't turn instantly most likely due to being ESP) and has to defeat Warachia before she turns into a vampire herself, which is very similar to Castlevania 2's plot of Simon Belmont being cursed by Dracula right as he vanquishes him and having to revive Dracula by gathering his parts and killing him once again before he succumbs to the curse and dies.Sion uses an ether whip and martial arts, she's basically Richter gameplay wise, like how Warachia is Dracula. She even has a sliding kick like him.
I suppose all of this might be obvious to some of you guys, but I have seen almost nobody bringing stuff like this up. There are some other things besides this concerning these characters, I just yapped about what came to my head at the moment. Again, don't expect anything soon, but I'm working on it, and there's more stuff than just these observations about these characters.
>>50952125Before you make your reddit tier video, consider that Nasu might've researched surface level Western occult stuff. Does this ten of swords remind you of a certain scene from OG Tsukihime?
Cute height difference.
>>50952324Sure, but this is within the context of swords and tons of other bladed weapons being used "telekinetically" to attack the opponent, i.e. being used as projectiles. It's not like Gilgamesh only uses swords, right? Not sure what the CG has to do with this.
Fuck Aoko.
>>50952324Can you really look at this and say that "oh it's from the tarot cards ackthually lmao"? So much for me being the reddit cuck. Nasu is a massive gamer. He insisted on Gilgamesh having a golden theme because he was stuck on some other game's boss called Gilgamesh who also wore golden armor. This is why she got the mini skirt.
>>50954634Gilgamesh's melee capabilities are really understated and underutilized. I personally blame Urobochi for cutting out the Sea of Fire fight from his Fourth Holy Grail War.inb4 "Saber is a better swordman" obviously, but he can still match her by cycling through his weaponry nonstop (refer to Fate route ending) which I find to be quite cool. Also his CCC moveset in general. Infinite possibilities, he mostly just uses Merodach or Ea when it comes to holding a sword in his hands though.

what does /tmg/ think about the Japanese piracy debate?
>>50961085I am ineligible for the discussion as I pirate all japanese media content that I consume.
>>50961085I don't give a shit.Whatever happens, happens.
>>50961085It's a matter of consumer accessibility to a large extent. The mere act of offering a product for sale on, say, steam as opposed to relegating it to a state of de facto-abandonware in the overseas market tends to significantly moderate piracy, especially if whatever you're selling is worth jack shit and possesses a fanbase willing to translate whatever you're making on their own dime. Then there's the more recent issue of making your product a console exclusive which will inevitably lead to the ROM being ripped and run on an emulator as opposed to being bought from a vendor as it simply takes less effort to pirate. tl;dr nips can cry all they want about IP law but they both stubbornly refuse to adhere to a market reality and are ultimately hypocritical themselves as Japs pirate shit all the time themselves, why do they think they have such draconian laws in the first place?
>>50961085>Honestly. Usually they preach "gatekeeping" or like Japanese content is for Japanese, but when Japanese companies don't provide access to them, they suddenly justify piracy and blame those very companies. >>50965288>>50966215agreed, I am a hardcore siscon so even if I chose to ignore the main barrier with that, Akiha is not sexy in the slightest. If Kohaku were my sister she would not be able to get of bed

>>50966360What the fuck is that image? OG Melty has done irreparable damage to the Tsukihime community and how people perceive its lore. She doesn't fucking use flame powers, that's Kouma's deal, she manipulates heat by draining it.I know I'm being a nerd but it's really cringe to look at that. Thankfully Type Lumina fixes this...

Takeuchi wanted to make manga but Nasu wrote too many pages to adapt, hence the VN format>"If we're going to make this into a manga, you can't make it long." And then he brings me 100 pages. I was just like "There's... no way we can do this."Nasu played 「ToHeart」 (*3) and 「ONE」 (*4). Then I played 「Kanon」 on Takeuchi's PC.Tsukihime was THE breakout dojin game hit, the biggest until Higurashi. Each route was planned to have 30 days, but was later changed to 10 days because Takeuchi said "Who would want to sit through 30 days?"Shiki was almost called Tachie. Roa's name came from a draft of Angel Notes.True Ancestor Princess Arc is based on the cold, princess-like Arcueid that was later changed to cheerful vampire, and because it would overlap with Akiha.Ciel was created as an antagonist on the church side who could face Arc.There was an entire day that was scrapped from the Akiha route. Something like Arihiko getting into a fight with Shiki.Sacchin (Yumizuka Satsuki) is based on Akari from 「Hikaru no Go」Hisui and Kohaku were going to be named Madoka and Tomoe.Kohaku's route was not planned from the start and Nasu wrote it in like 2 weeks and added it in. That's why it's so short.>We had to give the Kohaku scenario an ending, and I didn't have confidence in that. No matter what way I did it, it would end up tainting the ending in the Hisui scenario.During the late 90's, Watanabe Productions (currently French-Bread) and Nobuya Narita loved Tsukihime and created Melty Blood as a demo, and Nasu was moved and wanted to write the story/dialogue for it.>Nasu: At the time, having your manga or novel made into an anime was considered a major goal. However, for some people, having their work turned into a fighting game was also a dream, due to their fascination with "Street Fighter II", a game that changed the world. I was one such person. So when I heard that Watanabe Productions was going to make "Tsukihime" into a fighting game, I was quite moved. On top of that, the demo they showed me was great, so I felt that I really had to give it my best as well.>Nasu: I felt that I had done everything I could in the visual novel genre with "Tsukihime" and the fan disc, "Kagetsu Tohya". On the other hand, "Melty Blood" was a fighting game with combat as its main focus, so I decided to write the story with that in mind. The plot revolves around a new incident that occurs after "Tsukihime", with episodes that feature fan-favorite characters such as Arcueid, Ciel, and Akiha, while still firmly establishing Shiki as the main character. A typical plot centered around a new incident that occurred in town, written with a fighting game format. This formula would allow the story to expand easily by introducing new bosses to the series. I introduced Sion as a new protagonist in the first title along with TATARI (Warachia), a meember of the Twenty Seven Dead Apostle Ancestors, as a surprise. The Twenty Seven Dead Apostles play an important role in "Tsukihime", so I thought that introducing a new member of the Twenty Seven Dead Apostle here would really help convey to the players our passion about "Melty Blood" being a "Tsukihime" game.Nasu mentioned in a doujin anthology about Ciel (月の彼方、永遠の眼鏡 TYPE-MOON作品集) that Melty Blood was written using the events after the "Satsuki Normal End"Whenever Nasu says something happens on the "Sacchin route timeline" or the "Illya route timeline", it's just shorthand for "some route that doesn't exist"Nasu DID in fact want to make a Tsukihime 2 that would have been a follow up to the Arcueid route. He even made two short stories that functioned as a prequel for Tsukihime 2, called the 'Prelude' and 'Talk'Prelude I - Barthomeloi Lorelei, Enhance, and Shiki Tohno all attempt to hunt the newly appointed Dead Apostle Ancestor, Louvre after he takes Nrvnqsr Chaos's place.Prelude II - Mr. Dawn and his partner deliver supplies to Ciel in preparation for the Aylesbury Valesti.Prelude III - Merem Solomon and Gransurg Blackmore discuss their strange form of friendship and the upcoming Aylesbury ritual.Nobuya Narita still wants to create an TYPE-MOON fighter ala Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, hence Saber and Mash in MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA
>>50968485>Each route was planned to have 30 days, but was later changed to 10 days because Takeuchi said "Who would want to sit through 30 days?"I love and hate Takeuchi like you wouldn't believe.
>>50968485>Takeuchi is lazyI knew that already.

>>50971532How much?
>>50971101It's okay if they add Tsuki Kirei or Hansa. Jester could also work. In fact, I'd like them to add Hansa over Mech Hisui. But if we get another fucking servant...
>muh censorshipWhy are coombrains so retarded? When you're an indie creator it's true that sex sells, however once you've established your brand what'll push you into the mainstream is limiting yourself to ecchi teasing and fan service stuff like swimsuits. Getting your audience to want more but never giving it to them, that's the widest net you can possibly cast. Nasu does this with his endings as well. It's why Arcueid fags got shafted in the remake, it's why pretty much only Shiki Ryougi gets a happily ever after while Shiki Tohno has like 10 years of life in Ciel's true ending and wastes a year finishing high school and gets disowned by Akiha. LMAO
>>50972338Nasu is still a pussy and is going to appease Arc fans with his True Arcueid ending, like another fucking Last Episode. Cheap fan service crap like this from Japanese writers has to go. It hurts writing. It hurts the entire point of the Arcueid and Saber routes, and it most certainly hurts other routes, in this context it will most certainly be to the detriment of the game in general and especially the Satsuki Route we have all been eagerly waiting for, since it won't ACKTHUALLY be the last route but instead he'll shit out some hype moments and aura bullshit route with True Arc vs True Roa and then her and Shiki get to live happily every after because who gives a shit about consistency when you can just suck up to the most annoying fans in the fandom because they're also the most numerous? Imagine if instead of Last Episode he added some bullshit variant of the Fate route where it ends with Saber remaining with Shirou, just like in the "good" UBW ending that nobody with half a brain likes? No wonder he cut out Arcueid's good ending and changed Ciel's endings because they all sucked massive dick in the OG, especially the former, but him making True Arc just undoes the whole point even if it'll be better than the OG Good Arcueid ending.Thankfully I don't think he's a big enough for retard to pull something like True Ciel, but he never should've retconned True Ciel into being Extra Ciel, it concludes the Near Side and Roa's relationship with Arcueid perfectly, while Normal Ciel concludes Ciel's route.
>>50972406I would like her more if Takeuchi could draw her properly
>>50972357Anon... you're not supposed to get a cortisol spike over fiction or engage in waifu wars. I think you need to move on from TM because you're too old to actually enjoy it.>Cheap fan service crap like this from Japanese writers has to goBut most Japanese writers are adverse to any form of closure tho, they usually won't even write a fan service kiss for popular pairings, let alone throw a bone to the LGBT community.
>>50973050>slut show stage poseclassic Arc would never stand like this. The top half is based off an old portrait yes but her legs would NOT be crossed like that. They would normal and wide like Shiki's are there and regardless she would be wearing her skirt over them. When the fuck did Arc lose all true ancestor dignity and become a common whore?
>>50972357Fuck you.
>>50972357>who gives a shit about consistency when you can just suck up to the most annoying fans in the fandom because they're also the most numerous?More happy fans = more money. This would be the right choice if he went for it.
>>50971532Answer us
>>50973050Pretty insane how half of this post is just objectively wrong. Giving the impression of an old man huh? Maybe that's a good thing in this context, but regardless, nobody really agrees with my takes perhaps due to them being too radical, and to answer you, even without closure 90% of the time it all ends up too happily for what the plot itself is about. Western writers are ahead of the game on this, not to glaze shit too much but I just prefer how they do it, and it's also why I prefer KnK over every other TM work. The gravity of mortality and consequences are heavier and more relevant, at least from my perspective. Maybe I'm just an edgy cunt in denial, but yeah...
>>50973776If FGO didn't make enough for Nasu/Takeuchi to retire, a triple A visual novel certainly won't. It took BGM over 6 months to break even with the development costs failure and RG will sell far worse since it's a sequel of a covid era VN.
>>50974276It took me 2 decades to realize this, but Illya and White Len are pretty similar.

Fate/Samurai Remnant.Yay or nay? Does it feel like a traditional holy grail war?
>>50976257Shifting the focus from that blonde guy to other characters made it feel like DBZ slop, in Nasu's VNs you almost always follow one perspective in battle. The MC's.
>>50976281That is true. They tried to stuff too much at once with little breathing room. Nevertheless, I had fun.
>>50976281This 100%. The fact that FSF kept jumping back and forth between so many different characters and plot points made everything feel so disjointed. I hope season two finally settles on what characters and story beats to focus on.But who am I kidding? Season two will probably be nothing but hype moments and aura, while neglecting the story telling.
>>50954913That's Motoko Kusanagi?
>>50976281Do you know who wrote it?
>>50972324>It's okay if they add Tsuki Kirei or Hansa.lol no. Especially not over Mech.
What we know about Illya's route>Nasu confirmed that Ilya's bird familiars were from the draft>Nasu: If it's at the land that houses the Holy Grail, then Ilya is indeed that strong. And being able to make a familiar from her hair was in the original draft. The work this time around was especially hard, so I ended up using an "Iri's replacement" approach. By the way, the name of the technique is Elfen Lied [German for Elves' Song, 天使の詩 - Angel's Poem]. The bird's name is Storch Fieseler [German term for a type of plane].>Takeuchi confirmed that Shirou would have a sex scene with Leysritt and Sella>At the initial concept stage, the only details we had hammered down about these two maids were their names, their general roles (powerhouse/teacher) and which one would become Illya's Dress of Heaven. We only expanded on these characters when we decided to go ahead with "hollow". Normal homonculi are mostly emotionless like Leysritt, so that illustrates what a unique case Illya is. Leysritt was created as a sample of Illya, and Sella was allowed to live only because she was useful as Illya's tutor. That's about the extent of the specifics we initially had for these characters. When I started writing Sella's part in "hollow", however, she quickly became one of my favourite characters. I like Leysritt too, of course. By the way, I think Sella is the only real tsundere character in "Fate". (laughs)>Shirou losing his arm protecting Ilya, the two shopping and her singing, BRING ILLYA BACK, and Nine Lives Revolver were also planned for Illya's route>Shirou was going to drop his ideal to make amends for Kiritsugu's sins in Illya's route, while the Sakura route focuses on him breaking free of Kiritsugu and becoming his own person. Also, Rin was likely going to become a villain after killing Sakura and going mad in the Illya route to complete the pattern of how each heroine is a villain in some route>Zouken was the final boss
>"...... Aha, you're pretty slovenly, Saber. You feel better getting it from behind even though this is your first time?">Tohsaka's finger goes up Saber's thigh.>"...! No, that is a lie...! Sto-Stop, please stop, Shirou...! I don't want――">Saber tries to get away.>But Tohsaka's caresses stop her.>Saber tries to run away from the pleasure coming from behind her, but she's trapped by Tohsaka's tongue.
How do you make Hisui more active without destroying her route?
>>50976455No idea. >>50977168Making her transform into a panther.
>>50975812Then make anime adaptations of the new VNs. KnK movies made them rich. Zero movies made them even richer. Before that and also before FGO, Melty Blood was their biggest moneymaker. They'd still be rich and most of the FGO money goes straight to Sony anyway

>>50977392Written by Sakurai and a bunch of other hacks. Closer to OG Extra and Extella than anything else, and you can argue that these are better storywise.Out of the ones you haven't already, read Mahoyo, read KnK, read Tsuki, OG and Remake, read FSN, read FHA, read CCC. Literally anything else. Go play Melty or something. Idk what to tell you
>>50978485I have no interest in Mahoyo and Ataraxia (Steam reviews claim that it's mostly slice of life with mini games). Shiki Ryogi seems intriguing but unfortunately she doesn't have a VN... I guess I'm playing Extra next.
>>50978503It is SoL centered but it has two of the longest fight scenes in any Nasu VN. It's also quite short.HA is mostly SoL, if you don't care about FSN characters don't read it. If you like Medea, Mitsuzuri and Medusa definitely read it. It does wonders for them.Extra is mediocre as hell but is worth going through to play CCC. Make sure to use a guide so you do the CCC route shit in your first playthrough, make a save at the very end and then do the Normal ending first, then the CCC ending second by reloading your save to avoid going through the game again since barely anything changes in NG+.Ryougi is amazing, I'm in love with her, easily my favorite TM character and my favorite female character ever, the KnK LN is great but I understand your reluctance since it's not a VN. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1EDcmkYOeolwnhM5ex50E-sGh4JuAmhpY for the LN if you ever want to read it, I'd tell you to check out the manga but it is sadly not finished yet.
