Has /jp/ seen this? Someone took mario maker style interface, some yn assets and made it so you can make your own maps and tie them to other people's worlds.

https://youtu.be/aOFMiZaFHqA
https://sierpinski-simon.itch.io/yume-nikki-maker

The sprite/npc choices are rather limited so far, but with some creativity people have already made some pretty looking maps.
>>
I got recommended the video.
Looks cool. Ever since playing the original I've had the occasional thought about making my own dream game kinda thing and I just might if this gets further developed.

I don't mean this in a rude way, but what's the advantage of using this over just using RPG Maker?
>>
Oh, I know this place.

Traversing this feels like blacksouls chaos dungeon, with how small and random the maps are.
It's an interesting choice that maps can only have one entrance and multiple exits. I guess this prevents sections of the map to be closed-off(unless someone puts all the exists OOB), but also forces the whole game to have tree structure. Ie there is no loops, you only either traverse deeper until you reach some end or backtract.

This doesn't really let you create a fangame. It's more like mario maker where you submit your maps and connect them to other peoples' worlds forming one communal collage of dreams. Kind of like yume 2kki except anyone can add stuff. The in-game editor is also super easy and runs in browser.

>anyone can add stuff
seeing the western author additions into 2kki already i can't wait to walk around in trans rights world
>>
>>50967879
It's a dream/nightmare realm after all
>>

Undertale/Deltarune and its consequences have been a disaster for the creative sphere.

You must be talking about a different 2kki than Yume 2kki. Foreign additions have an additional layer of quality checking that puts the name of the quality checker on the line, and a majority of these additions aren't even by your typical westerners. If you're going to bring up issues you have with 2kki, at least make sure they have some basis in reality or even just your own opinion, and if your point is to mock the complete lack of quality checking then don't randomly bring up a completely unrelated game in the first place.

NTA, but why are you malding. Are you some tranny 2kki contributor lmao
He is right about being cautious of westerners adding crap to a game like that. He is also not wrong about 2kki having a lot of bad quality shit added in last years, mostly from western contributors. Both this game and 2kki are collaborative yn, meaning they could share similar fate.
But this all just boils down to if and what kind of standards admin is going to enforce here. So far I haven't seen anything off putting.

Doesn't sound like you've played it recently.

I'm not saying 2kki doesn't have a lot of shit places added over the years, and I'm not going to say westerners are giving the best of stuff. When you notice a world as being made by a foreigner you only notice it because it's shit or heavily themed after Earthbound specifically, for example. I'm saying he's implying that there's some kinda shit in 2kki that as far as I know there hasn't nor has ever been in any of its iterations, likely specifically because of the quality checking. The closest thing to tranny shit I've seen is a world or three that has a pastel colorscheme, but I'm going to give anon the benefit of doubt and say he probably doesn't see a light shade of blue being used in a world and immediately think of cock. But otherwise, there isn't a single world in 2kki that has any brand of that kind of western politics.

This but unironically.

I don't understand what undertale has to do with that anon's post.

Sorry anon but I genuinely don't see it. I just see a hole with rocks and a fence around it, and presumably a warp tile.
Is what I would have said until I just saw the last few frames of the webm and connected the dots that drbunker means Delta Rune Bunker? Either way, none of that skeleton porn shit so I can't see a reason to be bothered by it.
>>
It's just a dumb fun side project some kid made reusing Yume Nikki assets, it's not that serious.
It's obviously not meant for the crowd that would make their full on fangame using RPGMaker or similar, at first I thought it was a dumb concept but accessibility and distribution are the main draws to this, yes it will however mostly attract zoomers and normies.
>>
>>50974651
The map is an almost 1:1 recreation of that area of the Deltarune town bunker.
>>
>>50974946
>normies
Normalfags do not know yume nikki. I doubt such a small itch.io project is going to be discovered by anyone except people who are already familiar with YN.
