I am at the start of episode 3 now, and I don't know if there something I am missing or if Battler is just retarded, but what does he mean by saying he won't accept the witches and magic when he is literally being tortured, killed, and then revived to repeat? Or when he is witnessing a "game" from a higher dimension or whatever? I tend to like stubborn protagonists, but he really just comes off as stupid.
