It is nearly here so let us discuss it.
>>51008016I haven’t missed a single year so far, this should be another fun one.
>>51008016I'm looking forward to new drama. Place your bets on who will get raped or outed as a pedo.
>>51009035let's do our best to make sure it's one of us. /jp/ represent!
Say gex in touhou cosplay.
Seems a bit early for a thread, no? I know this board is slow but it feels like autosage kicks in pretty fast too. We still got a couple weeksThat said, rooming with the /jp/ anons this year and I actually had a pretty damn fun idea for a game. We can still play Mahjong but the game I had in mind instead was this>Get a deck of suited cards based on Touhou characters>Shuffle the deck around>Pass around 5 to each, place the rest in the center, flip one card up from the center deck>Whichever character got flipped up from the deck, anyone in the circle can choose to get rid of one of the cards in their hands by relating it to the character that just got shown (they cannot however, relate 2 cards at the same time in a row)>Anyone else in the circle can contest the card that was played that turn by making an even better case for relation (i.e. If the first card from the deck shown is Sanae, and the first card played after is Aya, then someone can contest with a card they might have that could prove to be of stronger relation like Kanako, Suwako, etc.)>Person with the better case ends up getting rid of their card in the center, and as a bonus for winning, can decide to send the card that was played by their opponent to anyone else's hand (cannot be sent to the last person who got this penalty)>Voting on who wins is based on both canon but also vibes from the players>Bonus: If you can't find a good canonical relation to the last card that was played, if you can make up a headcanon that's appealing enough, you can still sway audience votes>If a case is truly dead even then the win goes to whoever's card matches suit, or closer in number, in that order>Goal, of course, is to get rid of all the cards in your handSomehow ended up hanging out with the Lyrica Live circle a couple years back and they introduced this game to me. It was fucking fire and I've been dying for a chance to play it again desu
>>51009861the thread will probably die right when the event is here, so I guess another will be made right then.I haven't met up with you guys before but that sounds like a fun game, too
>>51009035why are american events like this
>>51009834kek
Are con newfags allowed at the meetup or is it a secret club thing?
>>51011351If you're /jp/ you're allowed. Not like we'll care about the difference anyway
>>51008016Finally some rock/metal rep, even if its those YouTube rock cover posers. YONA was a dark horse performer last year but they were fucking shredding it. Can't wait to mosh again this year.
