Well, when you look at the /vg/ rules, they say
>Western visual novels should be posted here, and Japanese visual novels on /jp/. Translated visual novels are allowed on either board.
So, you can't de facto call it a Japanese visual novel general and enforce this thread rule.

Quoting /jp/ rule 2
>This is the appropriate board for the discussion of Japanese visual novels and light novels. Western visual novels should be posted to /vg/, and translated visual novels are fine on either board.
To me, the general should be located right next to the untranslated one.

Not only that, but /vn/ currently has close to no moderation at all (gacha/rpgm/weg/blatant low-quality posts ect.).
I know things might change soon because of the new janitors, maybe not. There's still an issue with what I try to demonstrate here.

Are we allowed to come back? It would be nice to give me an explanation if we're not before removing the thread. Thanks.
