What the hell are you supposed to do for Perception food? Every other stat has an easily farmable option but Perception is doesn't have any good options from fish/fruits/vegetables and the small handful of "meat" options all suck because you can't farm big daddies or bells in large quantities.

And unless you go solo or use only disposable summons vampires end up farming anyway.

Trainers are paid with platinum coins, which you mostly get from doing quests posted on job boards.
