>last thread dead at 27 postslol why even continue
>>51051738did they just announcing Sinobuz 2?
>>51053726this will be same mediocre shit as the entirety of IIDX since Resident
>>51053729it all comes dowhill after they ditches TANOC. 33 is the most abysmal style in existence of IIDX. Humer left completely. OGs have 0 shit given. Half of the cast is fuckin BMS artists, some no names and some licensed shit that they will cut after 1 year.
rhythm games well all used to know are all dead. now it just osu and some fuckin mobile shit like project sekai
last few years I refuse to put my energy into IIDX. Maybe just play couple of old songs here and there and thats it
>>51053581The autosage change actually worked out pretty well for these threads because at least it always lasts 2+ weeks without aggressive bumping now. It's just going to be there if you need it. If it ever dies before autosage then it's truly over.
>>51054096>It's just going to be there if you need it.Good. Thanks OP for keeping it going.

>>51053581Can't stop dancin.
>>51055160How is the 4 button mode on this? I didn't like 6 buttons when I originally played
I'm going to play pop'n music today!
I played pop'n music today!
>>51058421>>51059519That's great dude, hope you had fun.
SDXV Anon from last thread here, I feel kind of hard stuck at 15 at the moment. Progression up until here has been smooth but the difficulty has raised a lot to 16. Any tips on how I could improve a bit more focused than just „playing more?“
>>51060153What I noticed with 16's is they force you to go one-handed a lot more, especially to cover both FX buttons. I force myself into a better standing position as a result to make it easiert. Hard stuck at 17's
>>51061474hey what is your average score throughout 15s and 16s? Is there any pattern or mechanic you feel it's impossible for you?You might make use of sdvx.org guides, specially the hand positioning one.
>>5106193215's is around 95 average and 16's is around 93 averageLaser's are definitely my weak area. I find them hard to read when they swap sides. I don't think my technique is good and I always force myself into an awkward position when I have a long laser, twisting my whole arm in a dumb wayLooking at this guide, Chord Jacks and Stairs are a pain tooThis is a good site, thanks for the link
>>51063750just noticed i replied to the wrong post lol but.for lasers, get yourself a few (no more than 1 to 3 at a time), watch their chart video in youtube on a slower speed, mini or ddx should have some. And try to understand how they treat lasers (or at least just mimick them). Then try to replicate those movements when you play charts with harder lasers for you. Also it's just good ol play more, but improving accuracy helps you with handling somewhat better those higher levels, try aiming for 96-97 lv15.
DJmax respect V 1/10 bad rhythm game !Quaver 10/10 real rhythm game !Also OSU! 10/10Eternna 10/10Beatmania sparkle shower 1/10Hope this helps.
silly question: it knows that at the arcade nearest to it their pop'n cab has the UI in english, and it knows that is running "legit" pop'n. Is this a data region thing (and UI in english is bc it's a different region version of the game) or is this a setting it is missing somewhere and could turn on at home (j+f, data from the tracker)?
>>51061932I assume you were talking to me then.First of cool website I did instantly spot some mistakes I‘m doing.I feel like I‘m struggling the most with one handed after all, that seems to be all over 16 but I didn‘t face all too difficult ones in 15.. other than that I average about 90 I guess at 15. I have only cleared one 16 so far so ill leave that out.
>>51066900my bad for confusing things up, nonetheless keep going strong no matter whose anon I replied, if any updates or questions, just post here so I might be able to reply back.also I understand clearing gives you the most and quickest dopamine, but the all the tips still applies. Mimick videos on a slower speed to see if you can understand the hand movement and aim for better accuracy! Those are slower and you might feel like not doing progress compared to clears, but these does some (or a good part) of the heavy lifting for you.
>>51060153I came here to say I was hardstuck at 14it's like 50/50 pass rate on those for me, but I'm just playing like once or twice a week after work so that's probably why. It feels really hard to practice because lower difficulty songs seem to drill bad habits into you (like rigidly sticking to left and right "sides") but higher difficulty songs that encourage you to be more flexible with your hand positions are just too hard overall to process the "correct" habits.I'm sure I just need to play more. I got a controller but I'm just tired in the evenings to set everything up...
>>51058421>>51059519to be fair you have to have a very high IQ to understand pop'n music
wanted to recreate the percussive aspect of ongeki on pc and ended up making some bastardized combination of pop'n, wacca, and arcaea.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XhIQRsvaac
>>51070275>KeyboardWell you're making it work so props to you
>gaylords seething at the fanservice in the new DJMAX DLCs and the "too rhythm gamey music"Good lord I love this series because it's IIDX at home but the "community" needs systematic gassing.
>>51070275interesting idea but it seems like it'd be absolute murder on both your keyboard and your hands if you're like most people who probably have hard cap mechanical keyboardsalso having to worry about keyboard shortcuts getting triggered seems really inconvenient, especially if you don't have software for your keyboard for quick profile remappings
>>51072480its not for most people. there are already plenty of rhythm games for most people
>>51067266Applying these tips seemed to have helped, I played the rest of the songs I failed in 15 from those that I played and tried 16, cleared 3 in a row. Thanks man! Not good clears though but a start.
In SDVX, do higher level charts expect a high lane speed? I'm at 670 and that's comfortable for me, but I see others with 800 or 900 and I cannot fathom how that's possible
>>51074089it depends, but you probably can get away with lower speeds if you can read it well or have the muscle memory. When I was aiming for S on 19s, I think I used to use around 760? So take it easy and if you feel like everything is starting to feel like a jumble mess, up it little by little, so you can still somewhat react in time to it and the notes feel spaced enough.
>>51074089I also play at 900 and I feel like it can still go a lot faster. The trick is to slowly increase the speed every time you get used to it. Not indefinitely of course but just until you hit that limit where you stop reading the chart.
Scrubs think that increasing their scroll speed/GN is like a magic cheat code for improving reading ability and then they get walled on the same difficulty for years with mediocre improvementSad!
Are you a bad enough dude
>>51072397I bet those are the same faggots who call SDVX a pedo gameBunch of retards
>>51079731No, I am not south east asian
does anyone have the pop'n image that's like "how to hit 159" but it's one handed and his thumb and pinky are super long
>>51074089It's all preferenceI do raise it when it get shit like 250 fasts/18 slows
>>51079736SDVX is a heckin pedophile game that’s why all the artwork gets removed !!But if it’s a pedophile game then why are all the top players… gay? That can’t be….
I HC'd UMMU SPAI don't know how I did that when I can barely even normal clear Tier D 12s
What do you think is the greatest accomplishment in the history of music gaming.
