Mikoto's Third TrialWelcome to MILGRAM!>TL;DRAnime Music Video project where us, the viewers, vote on the characters' fate and how the plot progresses.>What is this shit?MILGRAM is a Japanese mixed-media music project by DECO*27 and Takuya Yamanaka. It's a prison-based psychological experiment with 10 "murderers", where the audience (you) acts as the jury through the warden Es. You listen to music videos (trials) made from each prisoner's memories and emotions, read the supplementary materials, and decide whether they can be forgiven for their crime or not (INNOCENT or GUILTY).>Where to start? It's all free on youtube and the total length is between 1 to 2 hours.Go to https://www.youtube.com/@MilgramOfficial and watch the videos from oldest to newest. You can ignore covers and livestreams.Supplemental material, such as pre-Trial interviews between Es (your character) and the prisoner, has fully subbed TLs on youtube, just look it up.Watch out for spoilers!>How do I vote? After a Trial drops, visit https://milgram.jp/judge where global voting for the prisoner's verdict will be open for you to vote ONCE A DAY for a rather long period of time>Where are we now? We're currently on the third round of Trials, almost at the finish line too, with the trial for the 9th prisoner, Mikoto https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkBQG5x5wCM

Pretty lame one, there was no reason whatsoever, just him going crazy and killing 12 random people. And imo the song itself is also one of the weakest 3rd trial songs and definitely worse than his previous ones.
>>51117066This one was subpar. I feel like dissociative amnesia of his crime would've been enough for him and the excessive amount of murders also feels extreme for his life situation. The inclusion of an emerging personality that forced him to commit mass murder felt like a poor excuse to try to remove Mikoto's agency and accountability through an extreme scenario. And that also lead to the rules of Milgram being bent to make his case more confusing than it needed to be.Instead, you get "John" being able to hurt Es despite ultimately being considered the true murderer, John's "protection" of Mikoto being defined as the random slaughter of 12 civilians for stress relief, and some navel gazing about whether you can blame someone for a crime they don't remember even when they absolutely committed it. They had five years to sit with the fact that Mikoto violently murdered people no matter which "identity" said that he did it. No one to blame but themselves for that.>>51119295I don't have that plug-in, what's the ratio? I can only see the 24k likes.

The Chimera cover is a bit uninteresting.
>>51135767true it sucked hard
>>51117065I don't know what word is used in Japanese but that's not a serial killer. A serial killer has a specific definition. Mikoto is a mass murderer.
>>51142503They used the term 無差別殺人犯, which is indiscriminate murderer. So a spree killer would be a more accurate translation than what the official English translation went with.
