Last thread went by a *lot* quicker than expected, so as just as a reminder, Tenkai-chan's first birthday with us is coming up in the 21st of this month! To celebrate, we'll be organizing a collage with contributions from anons ITT. If you'd like to contribute with a Tenkai gen of your own, here are some guidelines:
-Tenkai-chan must be included, obviously.
-A general theme wasn't really decided on, but it was discussed that the gen should either be about her birthday or just "a day in the life of" if you can't come up with anything birthday-themed. Ultimately though, anything should be fine as long as Tenkai-chan's the main focus and it's SFW.
-1:1 aspect ratio.
-Multiple entries per anon are allowed.
-No real changes to the delivery date, honestly. Once again, you should only upload your submission to the collage either on the 21st or anytime afterwards.
-I'll stop taking submissions shortly before the thread gets archived (page 8, give or take), as that will be when I start putting the collage together so that I can post the full thing in the next thread.
-The 3x3 grid in picrel is a placeholder, the collage will have as many slots as submissions.
-As with the previous announcement, if any changes need to be made again I'll just inform you all by replying to this post.

Maybe I've just been looking in the wrong places, but I've just read the latest chapter of LE (bit late, I know) and I'm really surprised that there's no art (or slop, for that matter) of how cute Marisa looked in that chapter? Seija is the boring straightforward answer or maybe like Yorihime in a scenario where she gets like stranded in Gensokyo and has to go incognito so the guy in question just thinks she's a regular run of the mill girl. I think only a puritan like Yorihime would have that level of disgust on her face while undoubtly being the pursuer, end of the scenario is her like tying the guy up and fucking him while again acting like she's in a blackmail hentai despite being 1000% in control of the situation
Mai's two-faced nature would come into play more for scenarios, in her first "angel" form she'd be the quiet Kuudere type but in her second "demon" form she gets cocky and more active and into it (but since she's weaker than Yuki probably getting dommed more despite acting like the type to ride you like a bellydancer) of course this is for a solo scenario if you're making it a threesome scenario with Yuki (as you should) then it has a whole other dynamic to consider

My biggest complaint regarding his stuff is the fact that the style bleed on newer versions of his LoRAs are somehow getting WORSE instead of better, though yours is also a perfectly valid complaint, I'm really surprised that Medicine Seller Reisen in particular is not only not an option but also not really a tag on danbooru. Thought it'd be the type that would be easy to get with just official_alternate_costume and ajirogasa but turns out you need a lot more tags to get something close-ish. Thumbnail fooled me into thinking this was Ichirin. I'm so used to depicting her without her hood from that one victory pose she does in the floatans being charming as hell.

Style bleed on RDMP has indeed gotten a little worse along with LW taking more of his focus. It's especially bad for the likes of Akyuu who has a completely different hair color because of it. It took me far too long to remove the LoRA for Hi-Res (You can just tag the Touhou in the prompt EXCEPT Luna CHILD and MINORiko Aki very silly but there are workarounds), largely because of my commitment to rarer characters making it a case by case scenario, although for these characters they're usually not updated and thus mostly untouched.
Jo'on is one of my more commonly generated characters and I do know an artist or two who are somewhat commited to her, so i've familiarised myself with all the fits she can rock. That, and games are my biggest anchor point with the series. I'm no superplayer but i've got some decent clears here and there.

That hint about flirting with Tojiko does remind me about her being paired with Iku and Raiko, as not only an electric trio, but usually the butt of celibacy jokes. However, I remembered your Raiko is actually married, and Tojiko's already a fringe pick for a femcel. That leaves Iku alone, and to be frank I don't really remember if anyone else in your Gensokyo fits that bill. Most everyone I can remember is in some dynamic with a partner, or a more lustful girl by their side to help when the time comes, or if nothing else fits, good old fashioned rape ought to do the trick.

Did some gens of Yuugi relaxing nude in an underground hot spring because I think it is both comfy and sexy. It is kind of challenging to get the AI to position the sake cups/bottles correctly, and most of the gens had Suika in odd positions and angles so I only got like two I somewhat like. I don't know how to inpaint in ComfyUI like I can in Forge.

I haven't tried it myself as I've been making it a point to not even so much as touch ComfyUI with a 10-foot-pole, but I've seen some other anons that switched from Forge to Comfy say this helped them with the transition quite a bit. There is sex but not hscenes - the sort of under the covers with sound effects but no visuals. Technically the dialogue doesn't even refer to it as sex, since that and a few other words can be freely chosen (which works a lot better in japanese than in english). I don't think that there's an eng patch for various reasons including that one. You can play it with mtool though, it's just a little harder to understand the autotranslation.
"Byakuren and the Succubus Castle" is fun, though I didn't like the hscenes since they're all quite rapey (even though she doesn't mind wandering around in lewd clothes...). You can actually even skip all of the bosses and all of the encounters with the villain and get alternative dialogue since in that case Byakuren has no idea what was going on.

Anyways, I gave her a familiar! There were talks of her having one a long time ago, and while the white crow idea would've been a lot more plausible in canon, the idea of a frillback pigeon never quite left my mind, the curls matching her hair and also the headcanon that pigeons are the economical, lower-caste alternative for tengu who are SO DIRT POOR they cannot even afford a crow just never quite left my mind. Alright anons, since the day should have officially passed in most, if not all timezones by now, I feel like I should thank you all for actually deciding to join in on the collage, maybe it's a bit unnecessary of me to do so but I genuinely didn't expect it to have as many contributions as it did (we even got one from outside of 4chan by the way!), I also don't know how many of the anons here looked forward to it or just saw it as a bit of a hassle that they felt compelled to participate in, hence it once again feeling necessary to be grateful to you all.
The thing that I was especially surprised by as the person organizing this and that I REALLY feel like I need to thank you guys for though was the fact that there were anons who, despite having well over a week *after* the day to post their submissions, tried extra hard to post them on the day itself. This wording's gonna be a bit corny but you guys have no idea how much that meant to me. To the anons who posted "rush jobs" (whether you described your gen as one or just feel like it was one), the fact that you felt compelled to rush it to begin with more than makes up for any quality issues or the like that you feel like your gen might have, and it was genuinely cool to see. They say "it's the intention that counts" a lot when talking about presents, and the intention was clear! So thanks a lot for that.

Yeah, I'll be honest, I never much cared for kimono and kimono adjacent designs, so I try and do something else whenever I can. I think the pink eyes were just because I genuinely forgot what colour her eyes actually are. Flat chest was something I remember doing all the way back when the first Tenkai gens happened, so I've always stuck with it. I wanted the letter to feel impersonal, like it's something that Megumu does for all the crow tengu and also about the most recognition Tenkai can ever hope to get.

Fair enough, I went with the kimono suggestion because I thought the initial dress she had been genned with was a bit too contemporary for Gensokyo, but I admit I would've also found it a bit too bland if it weren't for the sarashi + sleeveless +frilled armholes combo.
...but then again, going back to the topic of contemporary clothes looking off, both Aya and Hatate wear them, so maybe it was an unwarranted change... Oh well, it stuck!

I think I was the one who came up with Seiseimaru because I noticed Tengu names have a pattern of being named after terms (Shameimaru = Sha-Mail (Shameru) an old japanese emailing service that let you attach photos you took with your phone to emails leading to Shameru or just Shame being used to refer to any text message with a photo attached to it, Himekaidou = "Princess Route" used to refer to detour routes avoiding main roads which are prone to bandit ambushes or danger in general probably used in reference to Hatate's ability letting her take "the easy road" in life without having to expose herself to danger, Inubashiri = "Dog Run" term for a dirt path or the path between wall ramparts where patrols travel obviously playing on Momiji being a guard herself) so I took the term Seisei (生成) from the Japanese word for GenAI which means creation / generation in a computing context though Seisei is also a homophone for 精製 which refers to refining / purifying materials which I think fits as well given that a big part of the process in these threads is refining gens until they look presentable.

I'm still on a year-old version of ChosenMix for T2I on top of still using PersonalMix for upscaling, which is nearly 2 years old at this point... I try not to speak on others behalf but I don't think a lot of anons here are using Anima, as was pointed out before it's got a lot of potential but it's still too primitive, and to me in specific the lack of artist/LoRA mixing really kills it for me, it might seriously mess with your style too. No better way of checking than to experiment, though.

Appreciate it, I do also like how colorful and flat it looks and even prefer it to my main style at times, though that may in part be because I pick it for situations/gens where it FITS better than my main style, y'get what I mean? I picked it here because of Rika's expression, for example, and also because it's actually way easier to edit and inpaint with this style compared to my default, but outside of silly gens like this I still prefer my more detailed one.

I thought about that as it's really fun to see a bunch of people get together and give their takes and contributions towards the same goal, last time we had anything similar was the Tenkai-chan Christmas gens that had a somewhat similar theme. As you said, the hardest part is getting everyone to agree on a character or theme (a theme would be easier though). There's also the issue of not wanting to interfere with other people's plans for gens of their own, I'd imagine that being pushed into participating into a group event too often would get tiring after a while (especially if you don't particularly care about the theme), some people just wanna gen their stuff and be done with it. I'll definitely organize something like this again but I'll try to space it out accordingly and make the theme more accessible, which means I'll also probably restrict Tenkai events to her birthday, it was really cute to see our mascot get so many gens in such little time, but I don't want this thread to go too much into the Donut Steel category. One batch of gens a year (and the odd appearance in a gen/request here and there) is more than enough Tenkai-chan, any more and her misfortune will start to rub off on us... eugh!

The way I see it, if it works for YOUR purposes, it works. On the flip side, if there's something you WANT to do, that the tools you're on don't support, but the newer ones (claim to) do - that's a valid cause for an upgrade. If you want natural language prompting, if tags+CLIP are simply too constraining for you (and they absolutely are a limitation), then yeah, Anima is likely your best bet for an anime slopmaker at the moment. It's all personal use case.
The one objective downside Anima has compared to SDXL is the increased compute load, but then that's bound to get optimised eventually like every line of models before it. Plus, yanno. Price of progress. Get a new GPU or something LMAO.
