Judging by the cover art and track names, I'm thinking the overall plot is gonna start with the Hifuus visiting newly designated historical/touristy site in Nara, but with Merry entering the border or something in the middle. Along the way you'll get ZUN's usual cynical musings on capitalism defiling actual culture and history, maybe with a line on how humans are now no more slaves than beasts.

Then I read through the comments to learn it's part of a story, so I listened to all of GFC and then eventually the other Hifuu CDs and DiPP.
