>>51158952>Screenshot 2026-07-18 114430.png>Screenshot 2026-08-04 051235.pngWhat's up with this format?
Supposedly there isnt much romance in crazy chain... whats the point in hiring yomi if my MC is not constantly smooching these attractive guys? I knew I shouldnt have expected anything from this scenario writer. Gonna try out one of the other new releases now
>>51160934I haven't played it yet but I don't think the lack of romance in main game is a problem since it will probably receive a fd anyway.
>>51160934Depends on your definition of romance. I only really thought of the last two routes as low romance routes. But the romance in the other routes is more in the lane of silly romcom hijinks, and it’s all kept pretty chaste with basically zero sex references at all and kiss scenes kept for the end. So YMMV I guess.
Apparently they're doing a manga off of Ariake's route from Ooe.
>>51162265How was Rex's route? You can hide it under a spoiler for other anons sake
>the two i was interested in are the only ones immediately unlockedBase->still have to complete everyone else to get their happy endings like in eitYou got me there voltage... I hope the other three grow on me then
>>51162490Glad I can plan to go for the two I'm interested in first too.I don't remember really minding doing the other routes in eit either, so I'll probably manage here, even if I still don't like manmaid design.
>>51162507Yeah, goodwill from eit has me going into this game quite optimistically even if I only care about the first two at the moment. Manmaid is voiced by Midorikawa at least
Yes sir (holy shit I didnt know Kanoa was 16)
>>51162783Same. Makes him even better now.
>>51162490You can use a walkthrough and force skip the other routes if you want to. I don't encourage this though.
I'm finally reading Olympia Soiree, still in the common route and so far he world building is extremely questionable.
>>51162934Best to suspend your disbelief and enjoy the pretty men.
>>51162956That's what I'm trying to do. Fortunately I do like the characters so far, even the MC isn't that bad. The best parts of the game are definitely the music and the artwork though.
>>51162783Technically he’s 28 and got deaged by magic bullshit, sorry to 年下 purists. He stays in the teen form in his ending and is considered to essentially be the age his body physically looks by the other characters though, which may soften the blow.
>>51164370Sure thought that was only going to be early game spoilers applicable to the first chapters of the game that the conversation was about.
>>51162934Which LI do you like so far?>>51164878I know right, saw the first few words and immediately swiped away
>>51162783Can u fuck him?
>>51165539He's an LI so yes but its a console game so no
>>51165487>Which LI do you like so far?Probably Kuroba, he seems fun.Though I'm most intrigued by Tsukuyomi who is not even a LI.
Til.......
>>51169420Til so cute, he ended up becoming my favorite so far. Looking forward to unlocking his happy end.
>>51169444I keep flip flopping between him and Kanoa depending on who is on my screen but he really is great so far with just the right amount of moe. Hope his route is interesting, I'm about to start it since I just finished the common route
I can't be bothered with VNs that force you to play through bad endings in order to unlock the good ones. Bad endings should always be optional imo.
>>51169813When it's a game that involves overarching plot reasons that require you to have the whole picture before you can reach a happy conclusion then I don't mind.
>>51162490Do you have to play Even If Tempest before playing this?
>>51170333No, there are some references here and there because shared setting, but they're separate games.
sins of Kaleido Heath's route spoilers: Underwhelmed by Eira's introduction so far. This is who we gave up yandere incest for? At least make her cute. I would've chose onii-chan.
I prefer bratty kanoa but we can take this one home too...
Finished Eugene's route in koS. I definitely recommend doing Heath's route before Eugene's for a couple different reasons.
>>51176954Woah, cute
>>51177744I was planning on doing Eugene before Heath so ty for the heads up. Also you're going much faster than I am lol, enjoy weird provoking lawyer man for me
>>51177848Yeah I'm actually looking forward to Orsem's route now to see where this all goes. Initially I was only interested in Kanoa and Til, but while they're still my favorites the rest have grown on me a bit more too.
Will koei ever learn from konami?
>>51181367Meaning?
>>51181367Konami is still retarded in my eyes but their otome remasters aren't bad.
>>51181367I want geten no hana for switch so hard naomitsu daddy"
So kaleido is that good for almost 8.80 rating?
>>51181768I'm still playing and I have a few complaints, but otherwise I've been having a good time with it. Considering I originally only had any interest in two characters but I've been binging the game I'll consider that a win.I'd recommend it to those who liked Even if Tempest.
>>51181768Havent progressed deep enough to rate it but I've been thoroughly enjoying every minute of it since ch1 of the common route. About to finish up Til's route and hopefully start Kanoa tomorrow
Anons is OVER REQUIEMZ an easy read? When checking Twitter/Reddit, they consistently rate it as difficult
>>51184499Jiten extension lists it as 3.1/5 difficulty. For me that range is not especially hard but does require more effort. If you're looking for beginner-friendly, then I'd say no it's probably not an easy read.
>>51184568Thanks anon, I was looking for something like jpdb.io but with a better tagging system!
>>51184568Meant to say Jiten userscript, not extension.
Bl husbando that you cant stop gooning for
>heroine gets described as ‘tall’>look inside>under 170cm
>>51185271The dead fish from Mebiusline Idc Idc.
>>51185271Towa towa towa towa towa towa towa towa towa. Can't fucking wait for that chiral nitro live. They're just gonna pop out merch and shit but maybe just maybe do a fandisk.
I will never forgive nitro for this. Imagine making a route for madarame but not him.
A-azuma azuma!!
kanoa spoilersSee the bullying is much better when he looks like this. Thank god he can turn back, Yolca better hide the fucking stoneAnd I'm not sure how I feel about his route. Til's one was so damn good so maybe my expectations were too high
>>51188332That appearance swap filtered me big time too. I'm never a fan of those "the younger LI of the group actually has an older form that makes him like the rest of the LIs! Aren't you glad?" twists. Luckily it gets swept back under the rug where it belongs.
>>51188424The VA forcing his voice to go deeper didnt suit him either. I was kinda seething when the first kiss cg happened in his adult body because I thought it would be the only one, until the second one in teen body happened kek.
Does the Even if Tempest FD just not work on emulators? The game runs but the sprites and backgrounds don’t show up.
>>51191060It worked fine when I tried it on ryujinx some years ago.
>>51191060Thats an old issue that was fixed
Just randomly found out on vndb that Adelta has a new BL VN in development ? Weird that I haven't heard anything about it before.
>>51191107>>51191369I’ve tried it on eden, and old versions of ryujin and yuzu I had, all the same issue. I remember hearing the base game had a similar issue and that was eventually fixed but I played the base game on switch so I never actually encountered it.
>>51191930It’s vaporware. She was commissioned to do the art for it in the late 2010s but the circle seems to have done nothing since then. I think it was just a free game anyway? She did the art for a few other indie BLVNs in that time period.
Adelta VNs lowkey overrated, especially the ones in them. Whenever I see someone say that they don't rely on BL tropes I feel gaslighted.
>>51192030This is the last official version of ryujinx, it worked for me: https://www.mediafire.com/file/wekrdtpmx1t6b0s/ryujinx-1.1.1403-win_x64.zip/file .
>>51192446Thanks anon, but I’m still getting the same problem, I have no idea. Maybe my PC is too much of a toaster or something.
I wish Heath actually looked like this. I love beautiful long-haired ikemen but his current hair is so meh. This doll kinda looks like something Usuba Kagerou would draw/design
>>51192531That's too bad but at least you're only missing out the FD. I don't think recent Voltage games have this issue.
>>51192531It's a VN, so your specs are probably fine enough. Try swapping the rendering option (vulkan/openGL). I tried it just now with whatever ryubing version I have sitting around and that did the trick. If not, an older version of the emulator works sometimes, or maybe yuzu.
>>51192531NTA its getting a pc port this year so u could wait. Or try and experiment w different kenji or eden versions.
>>51193622This got it working (using the last ryujin release and switching to vulkan), thanks! Switching on Eden did nothing, in fact it was set to vulkan from the start so I don’t really know what was going on there. I guess it’s just temperamental. >>51193618 is right and their newer games aren’t like this, I got Neon Clash working just fine with no adjustments.
When ur hotter than all the other LIs yet ur the only one who didn't get a route with full explicit H scenes, literally playing in our faces.
How was that otome omegaverse in the end kek.
>>51186184Still mad Clean Dishes was unplayable for me
>>51194990Kinda average and the omegaverse aspect wasn't utilized very well.
Ooe is getting a switch port: https://dramaticcreate.com/owen/Apparently it's coming out this year, and the port will include English translation too. It'll be funny if this comes out before the MangaGamer PC port does.
>>51195685>MTLamatic MTLate """translation"""I sleepCurious how they'll censor the no-no scenes, there are already strategically placed objects in frame, but I expect they'll still get cut/blackscreened.
>>51195685Game is already shit enough and now they make it worse by removing the r18 scenes and expect people to pay for MTLslop. I wonder how many morons will fall for it.
>>51195829>Game is already shit enoughHave yet to play it what was bad for you?
>best Adelta game to date>shit
>>51195829I've only checked out the demo but I think it's worth playing just for the visuals and atmosphere alone.
>>51195868NTA but they read as a retard, so I'll get ahead of it. The game's good and entirely palatable. It's a tired premise but has wonderful flavor and atmosphere, and incredibly strong first and last few routes; the final route has a scene with the best composition I've experienced in a VN.On the other hand, many of the middle routes, while not being literal filler, feel trite and it's really easy to get tired of them—they'd be more tolerable in a game with unforced routing. It's hard to rep the game's romance without spoiling its format, but a lot of people seem dissatisfied by it, so you may too. Its h-scenes are also whatever, though a good number of them are load-bearing, so deballing the game in a Switch release will hurt.Overall, the game is good enough that I've actually thought about the things I don't like about it, rather than the usual BL genre garbage that just pass through my system without inviting any thought. Would discourage buying the Switch release, though.
>>51196028>just for the visuals and atmosphere aloneRetards like you is how you end up with the modern state of any bl/otome/joseimuke released today. All that matters to us is visuals and vibes yas queen
>>51195868NTA but I finished it recently and thought it was incredibly boring and purely carried by its incredible atmosphere like the other anons have already touched upon. Hell, even the other anon replying to you seems to primarily praise the visual aspects of the game without realizing it.
>>51196113Thanks for the review, anon. I played Hashihime and Uultrac, and I really loved the writing. I get what you mean about some of the routes though, some of the Hashihime boys' routes weren't that great for me desu.I played both Hashihime and NOMA, mostly for the extras, so I guess the Switch version is for the consolefags or people who don't like sex/gay porn. Personally, I don't really get it because who doesn't want to see cute boys getting dicked!? but to each their own. For me, the Switch version is only worth it for the extra content and, most importantly, the dev getting more money. But seriously, if the TL isn't done by MangaGamer, I'd really recommend skipping it because it's fucking terrible. It's basically unedited MTL. If you play the Hashihime append disc, DC didn't even bother fixing the wrong MTL names. Minakami is literally called "Mizu something" lol.
>>51196122I actually have very high standard when it comes to this kind of thing, being a huge fan of mystery works. The artwork quality, visual direction, atmostphere matter a lot, it's called VISUAL novel. in recent years ADELTA is actually the only company that has impressed me on that front in the bl/otome pc/console market. I don't play mobile stuff so no comment on that market.
>>51196150Sometimes the atmosphere really makes up for everything. I found Slow Damage pretty mid, but the music, visuals, characters, everything else really makes up for it, and left i better experience than I had .Same with Shingakkou, it had a lot of copy pasta retelling, but it's still a solid 10/10 for me.IIRC, Ooe was cut in half, so maybe that's why the author retold so much stuff, perhaps thinking people might forget, and did it subconsciously, idk. Or maybe it was intentional to make the game longer. I think I'll like it, but I'm not sure if I'll agree that it deserves to be the top rated BLVN.
>>51196150Let me guess you also hate N+C works?
>>51196113> —>load-bearingAnon was asking you and not Claude…
>>51196170Slow damage had my husbando Towa in so its a solid 10 for me. Now gooning to Towa has become my source of happiness.
Whats a theme that a blvn has yet to pull and you'd like to see?
>>51196298Mecha, definitely mecha. And something set in the 80s or 90s?
>>51196150I understand the ideal that a work shouldn't be "carried" by a specific thing (though I disagree that Ooe is carried by its visuals), but I think it's also reductive to poopoo the skilled leveraging of what sets the medium apart from actual novels. Especially because there's a serious imbalance, where people treat ugly kamige or whatever as quirky filters to the fantastic writing or associated leveraging of other features to telling a story through a VN.It's also hard to recommend a VN on the basis of writing, unless the plan is to just post platitudes about how it's generically good, given people's relative spoiler sensitivity. I could write words, words, words about the final route's vacation house scene and the interplay of dread, not from being in tangible danger but instead the plunge; surrealism; the psychoanalyst's wet dream of mother, boat, flowers, lake, etc. and how it relates to John Ooe; the use of silence, music, voice, visuals; etc., but it's both personally exposing and not useful to a short blurb shilling something, especially because I can't know if anyone else would like it as much as I did, and would feel irresponsible shilling too hard. Also, you can't trust randoms reading or reviewing VN's (nor me) to have good opinions on good or bad writing.>>51196170>I'm not sure if I'll agree that it deserves to be the top rated BLVN.This is pretty much how I feel. Ooe is overrated, but the problem is other things people esteem over it fucking suck.>>51196190You're 0/2, anon: not AI, and I wasn't asked.
>>51196298I said it previosuly but I'm surprised we didn't get a sports themed BL VN already (well at least a popular one, maybe there's an obscure JP sports themed BL VN I've never heard of till now).
>>51196324You are right. I'm surprised bc sports anime are so popular with fujos. >>51196304Terra e my beloved.
Ooe certainly has the visuals/audio but the prose undoubtedly added to the immersive atmosphere for me. That isn't to say the middle few routes weren't weak, but they weren't awful enough to dismiss the whole game because of them. Disappointing sure, but not exactly bad. The characters were really moe too, which is a big part of why I like the game at all. I'll definitely be replaying the full thing on the switch. I just hope they won't go too crazy with the store exclusive tokuten.>inb4 there won't even be a physical edition
>>51195868Not them, but I was unsatisfied with it it too. The first route is strong as usual but in a classic adelta fashion she blows her load too early. Even the main character's development happens mostly in the first route and to me it's way worse than Tamamori because his issues are never solved.Afterward it just has too many routes with too similar developments.. Most of the romances are unbelievable and poorly developed and the game quickly abandoned the "island mystery" idea to develop them. The mastermind is a obvious and Funeno route felt like the author gave up any credence of character's consistency.
Cope and seethe you little rat Also it pisses me off how there isn't a route for sensei Hirai and have to settle for the copycat chud
>>51196306>I could write words, words, words about the final route'sdo it anon, I appreciate analysis attempts, would read
For those worried about MTL, Ooe editor confirms the team for Switch English release is the same as for the Mangagamer release.>I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to say whether it's the same translation or notMostly likely same translation.
>>51198541It doesn't make sense, if the translation for the pc version is already done then how come mangagamer is just sitting on it?
>>51198600Maybe the same as whatever is holding up their Hana Awase PC release.
>>51198600Because that editor is a lazy fat fuck that would rather shit on twitter than do her fucking job (still doesn't do it) but yeah anyway.
>>51199103Are you retarded? If the script has been done then the translators/editors aren't the ones stalling a release.
