Feels awkward, but being able to tell the model "the man is X, the woman is Y, and in the second panel Z is happening, and also there is a cut-in in the upper left corner" is very helpful. Not infallible by ANY means; it's still an LLM encoder, so go figure - however, in terms of overall tendencies, sure, it "works."+ Crisper output even at t2i resolutions. Simple. Smaller details occasionally come out even without inpainting.+ On the whole fewer catastrophic compositional failures.- SLOW. At the same res, I'm seeing a 40-50% drop in it/s. Turbo LORAs/distilled ckpts exist, but going CFG=1 for the speed-up castrates style LORAs and generally squashes trained-in styles.-/+ That said, if you're on a 50xx card, getting a checkpoint in the new int8 format may compensate for what'd otherwise be a dramatic speed drop. Can't attest; am a 4090 peasant.- More sensitive to denoise. Had to drop my i2i habits by -0.1 to -0.2 and it still feels like a tad much at times. At 0.15!- Checkpoints seem to come in 2 varieties exclusively. Overfitted with a default style that leaks worse than Alice after shovelling - or underfitted to the point where you need to manually describe the hip-to-waist ratio. The former will be "stable" but ignore half your style prompt. The later'll spawn completely different face shapes out of the exact same tags. Staved off by more distinct artist styles, but YMMV.So, for me, the issue is that relying on a model with a strong default style means fishing for one that doesn't stray too far from my preferences on AOM infested waters. Whereas using an underfit one means getting over myself and using artist tags like a normal person. Already had to do that with chosenMix_v3 after switching out of the infamously overfit WAI, but where that model's mild default style took over nicely in upscaling, here the unguided output is chaos.... Mind that this is a supremely niche, dare I say hipster, complaint. tl;dr: natural language is a legitimate crutch, sharper outputs are nice, sensitivity quirks can PROBABLY be worked around; on the flip side: it's a learning curve, finding a good checkpoint is an exercise, it's slow, and I don't like having to be verbose about something I already god damned drew in!If you're thinking about it, give it another 2-3 weeks. An expanded version of Anima (2.9B vs 2B) is being rolled out, so it'll be a bit before the community updates its shit.

I'm the fag from the last thread who asked about ZUN art. I finally got ComfyUI up and running. Setting this up was way easier than I thought it would be, and it seems like way more models are available to me than I originally thought there would be despite only having 8GB vram. By simply tweaking the prompts, I have gotten some great results. Pic related was done using WAI Illustrious SDXL NSFW v17. To the guy who generated the Hina Kagiyama image, what Illustrious XL version did you use? I think I tried both 1.1v and 2v but couldn't get any good results. Another thing to clarify, is when the one guy suggested to remove best quality, etc. Does that mean just remove them from the positive prompt or actually include them in the negative prompt?At what point should I consider a LoRA over simply using tags? I am pretty impressed with the results I have compared to anything I tried to bake up with free non-local AI. I am still trying to learn the specific way to prompt it, because I've noticed that one or two minor things can either make it a god-tier gen or derp it up entirely. I checked out the Anima lora and the early windows lora, but I am wanting touhou-style within a specific generation of touhou. Not quite EoSD, but not quite modern, either. I was thinking between Touhou 9-12 or possibly even up to 14 or 15. If I were to make a LoRA, how would I go about cropping the portraits? Would it be necessary to upscale them? If so, what would be the best approach? I was thinking something like Waifu2x, but I am uneducated on this. Also, another thing I noticed was that every 6-7 gens, it would hang, and I'd have to shut ComfyUI and restart it. It used to hang on 2-3 gens. However, I set these args, and it allowed me to generate more without hanging:--lowvram --reserve-vram 2 --cpu-vaeHowever, I have a feeling memory/vram isn't being freed somewhere, and I am not sure what I would do about that. After every run, I have been hitting free model and node cache.
