It bothered me when he abandoned his doujin identity entirely to only focus on his official works. And now it's bothered me that in his most recent work, two of his three MCs have massive fucking cowtits that eclipse those of any other girl that he's previously drawn. It's just not right.Anyway here's a small joke of his that's really easy to miss. In nearly every single panel that he draws Aya, there's a Hatate hidden somewhere, stalking her.

But to your point, I think that making your own stuff is hardly "abandoned his doujin identity" quite the opposite actually. And him abandoning Touhou? Yeah, it's a shame but it's still significantly better than forcing himself to make something he doesn't want to make.

>>51249822I think you misunderstand, when I say "abandoned his doujin identity" I'm quite literally referring to him abandoning the Bomber Grape identity. I love his original stuff, his fantasy manga is great and Zai X 10 has some of his best jokes period, so it's not like I want him to toil away in the doujin mines forever. It just makes me feel like his vaguely ashamed of all of this old stuff, that he's a professional now so he has to abandon his doujin name and accounts. I'm probably reading far too deep into it but that's just how I feel.
