Just finished the Fate route. It was good, it had some really good moments. I like the lore especially and the powers and themes. I don't like the cringe awkward moments between Shirou and the girls though. I think it kind of deteriorates the overall pacing of an otherwise great story. That's why Fuji-nee is best girl. Because she's funny and there's no romance. Saber is a great character and her story and myth are truly interesting but her relationship with Shirou sucks imo. The fact she falls for the japanese teenage boy in the end was unecessary and embarassing. Gilgamesh was pretty cool and the same goes for Cu Chulainn, I hope I'll get to see more of them in the next routes. I feel like the weakness of the universe and the story so far is Shirou. I mean not the character itself nor his struggles but rather his relationship with women.

Her sprite is super small, she reads as really youthful compared to Sakura and Rin, Shirou has made non-stop comments on her apparent age. I always read her as visually being early 20s or at least the same age as everyone else, early 20s in Zero. What were those shadow attacks that Shinji was using against Shirou in the Fate route? It's not explained. Maybe the book of the false attendant can also shoot magecraft bullets? Regardless those shadows were probably slower than arrows, we're talking baseball throw speeds.

You can also ask for help from Ciel-sensei by clicking the help button in the upper-right corner in the new game screen. The game is about repeating the same day over and triggering events so you can advance, just try all options, read the route till the end and start a new game so you can try again. There is a bunch of choices and it may be frustating to try over and over again so many people recommend using a guide rather than going in blind, but it's up to you.
I'm looking forward to Satsuki's route because she'd be the only heroine to not be hiding some dark past from Shiki. Actually the dynamic would be reversed.

Finished FSN today. Got all endings. It was good. I enjoyed it even sometimes it pissed me off a bit but it's mainly because I was in a foul mood. My only complaints are related to the fact that some parts are way too long and repetitive especially in HF. A lot of scenes with Sakura are just too much of the same stuff we're already familiar with. Other than that it was really good to see how it all began. I have to agree with people online saying that this IS the starting point. I started with FGO and it was a bad idea. Now I understand the principles of the universe a lot more.
