Despite the overwhelming crowd of 3 ojisans and myself, Nanaho's concert was great. It was an acoustic two-man live, both singers were very impressive. The atmosphere was a little awkward, kinda cozy though. It was my first time hearing Osoe but she was excellent, both her original songs and covers. She sang some kanekoayano. Nanaho didn't sing the Alaska Night Waves' song I wanted to hear the most but there was some exclusive news related to the band. I think she also said that new songs are coming soon, maybe in several months. I recommended Trooper Salute to her and she gave me the name of her other band, itokamutobiko. Recently returned home. I did both days of Zutomayo Bunka Denrai in Nara and then I went to Yuka Nagase x Punipuni Denki in Omotesando. I was a bit anxious doing such a short trip just to go to concerts, but it didn't cost me much (flew using miles), and I've been able to avoid jetlag. I answered the question, what if I went to the other side of the world just to listen music, and I'd call it a rousing success. Going back again in a couple of weeks, but for an actual vacation. Bunka Denrai was fantastic with incredible production value. Last time I went to Nara I told myself I'd never be back here, so I'm thankful for having another chance to go. Unfortunately, I wasn't close to the stage on either day. But for Yuka I was within arms length. She and her bandmates always look like they are having a ton of fun on stage, and they blazed through a dozen songs with zero MC (typical Yuka). For punipunkdenki I headed to the back of the venue and got a few drinks while enjoying the music. Zutomayo is aiming for a Tokyo Dome show in 2027, so I'd like to do that one next year. Struggles are more likely to occur in rural areas. But even google translate can work wonders. Depending on the show/artist you may or may not need accounts linked to long term Japanese phone numbers. I have accounts for most services. Zutomayo for example has separate overseas lottos which do not require it. If you do need a long term number, I believe a service like Mobal can get you set up for a relatively low cost.

That said, O2 is an arena and not a stadium, there is a huge difference. The average stadium is 50k+ and the average arena is hovering in the 20k range. Ado has already held events in Europe at this same 20k range, for example. Similar is going on in NA. There is a huge jump from arena to stadium, and I think it will be a very long time before any of this stuff gets an actual stadium concert in the west. Stadium concerts are already hard to do even in Japan.
Seems like Kenshi Yonezu is also doing 15-30k venues this world tour.
