What I don't quite understand is why the people from /v/ are posting random 2hu stuff in this thread specifically instead of the thousand different 2hu threads on this board?Anyway I've been replaying some games and trying out some others using Shakes' translator. It works pretty well as long as you make sure to change the prompt based on the game. Obviously running the TL locally is slower than using a webserver so that is taking some getting used to, especially ones that have large menus or screens with a lot of text on. I'm never quite sure if it's just taking a while to translate the entire screen or if it's actually doing anything at all. Some sort of obvious indication that it's working would be nice. The ability for the tool to remember previously translated screens is really appreciated and does reduce the awkwardness of the above a great deal once you've played enough.In games like eraMegaten or eraFL it would sometimes not translate certain screens. I was going to post picrel as an example but this is apparently some era UI wizardry I wasn't aware of that doesn't get sent to the clipboard at all and instead seems to be a fancy image or something? I'm running the 7B model and it works perfectly fine from what I can tell and with what I bothered to compare to other translation tools. It's better than my own Japanese ability anyway.Overall I'll continue using this over Sugoi for TW specifically but for some of the more complicated games it's not perfect at acquiring all the text. Thankfully just opening the clipboard and copying the text inside that is enough for it to begin translation. My one big request would be the ability to scroll up through previous translationsIt is yet another thing that makes me regret not shelling out the extra 80USD when I bought my GPU to get the 16GB version rather than the 12GB version.

While most of the images are resized down to a specific uniform size (e.g. 180 x 360 for 'vertical'), if you dropped in a 832x1216, it'll make it show up in that size instead of forcibly resizing it as well. There are even specific images you can do for the each variation of the Resort Uniform - standard long pants, standard skirt, standard mini skirt, topless with business jacket (long pants / skirt / mini skirt), totally topless, etc. If you want to see an example of it at work, Cagliostro has images for those variations, and I'm pretty sure Promothea does as well. There's probably a few other characters that also have them too. Cagliostro even has images specific to her 'adult form', as well as images for her 'casual outfit' (different from her normal outfit), her outfit when she's on a date, etc.. It's all down to how dedicated the people making the art are in that regard.The file '___キャラ画像の入れ方.txt' provides a list of the word format you need to use for each of those actions. For some of the outfits, they probably also allow for a 'partially undressed' variant of them as well to use if they're not fully clothed or nude. Then there are specific images that only fire when a specific action (e.g. Sophie undressing top/bottom), and you could set this for pretty much every outfit. Then you can do all these with 'pregnant' variants of the images as well, and in square, vertical and/or horizontal... though for their sanity, most of the 'square' images used are usually made in vertical first, then a square shape is simply cropped out of it. After all, you don't need to have 'square image of standard outfit in standard pose' looking completely different to 'vertical image of standard outfit in standard pose', unless you really love churning out them AI art and have plenty of time to spare. Then you can have multiple images of the same clothing/pose/action so that it cycles through them randomly as well so that it's not 'boring'. This is kind of how Promothea and Patchy got thousands of images.
