- The October 14th update will see the return of the Pumpkin Festival mini-event. During the event, complete various quests to receive pumpkins. Turn in pumpkins to receive rare equipment or use them as fodder for luck improvement. See the event page for detailed info: https://en.kancollewiki.net/Pumpkin_Festival
- Kitakami Kai San has been introduced. She has 5 slots and can now equip landing craft and seaplanes.
- Fusou and Yamashiro Kai Ni Ho have been introduced. They now have 5 slots and can now equip landing craft.
- New permanent and limited quests relating to the ship updates have been added.
- A new item called Hanger Expansion has been added. It can be used to increase the plane capacity of a carrier's slot. It is in early implementation and will become available to BBV and CAV in the fall.
- 5-6 has been implemented. To unlock each month, you must clear 5-5. This map contains 1 TP phase and 2 boss phases. Clearing the map rewards 225 ranking points, 4 Development Materials, and 1 Arsenal Resource.
- Akashi improvement has been updated to use the new Arsenal Resource which can remove all improvements from an item making it available to be used as improvement material. Various Akashi Arsenal updates have also been added.

- August ranking rewards have been distributed. They are the Daihatsu Landing Craft [Panzer variants], Type 1 Land-based Attack Aircraft (Nonaka Squadron), Type 0 Fighter Model 22 (251 Air Group), Type 0 Fighter Model 21 (Tainan Air Group), and Type 0 Fighter Model 62 Kai (Skilled/Night Fighter-bomber).
- As of October 16, 2025 the game has entered Flight II-A mode.
- A VPN/Proxy is no longer required to log into the game. You will still need one if you access the game via DMM.
- As of mid October 2023 The terms and conditions for the DMM games platform have changed. After 1 year of inactivity games on the platform will have the right to delete your account information if they wish to. Put simply IF YOU GO ONE YEAR WITHOUT LOGGING INTO SHIPTHIS YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR SHIPS EVER AGAIN.
