I voted for this, fuck you chud otakus. No visas for your koebuta activities.https://x.com/umamusume_eng/status/2112401161940529303
>>51343529Based. no honses 4 u, Chuddie
Wouldn't you ensure you have proper visa's for your performers BEFORE attempting to host an event in a foreign country?
Why are you people celebrating? Don't you like this stuff?
well I guess one good thing came from this term
>>51343579I believe that you have to show schedules and contracts to apply for that type of visa.>>51343579Just mocking americans
>>51343594Wrong quote, I meant >>51343587Just mocking americans
>>51343587Hating horses has been linked with mental illness. Sad.
This wouldn't have been an issue if the concert was to be held in Canada.
>>51343529unironically a good thing. fuck gachaniggers and fuck their concerts.
I’ve been sparring people about performers failing to secure visas in the US:The US absolutely does not need foreign performers to have a thriving music scene. If foreign acts want to come here, they have to play by our rules, not us by theirs. If they failed to secure visas: that’s too bad but I don’t care. Try again next time.
Damn thats cutting it closeHopefully nobody got a hotel or plane tickets for this shit
ooma moosoomey fans won't become domestic terrorists so they can bend over like the obedient cucks they are
Shit like this happens from time to time regardless of the current year. The only difference is /pol/tards didn't whine about it in the past.
Incredible levels of gacha corpo bootlicking which seems to be characteristic of anything that happens with this shit. The organizers only letting people know that the visas weren't approved a day before the event is INSANE.They didn't even give people enough time to change travel plans, the poor faggots only found out after having traveled to LA already.
>>51343594>I believe that you have to show schedules and contracts to apply for that type of visa.So how does every other Japan performer, electronics show, etc get in basically hassle free year after year? This probably boils down to someone missed an email or meeting to ensure the passports got approved and missed it.
>>51344683>So how does every other Japan performer, electronics show, etc get in basically hassle free year after year? They don't.The sheer number of japanese musical guests that fail to get visas on time is staggering.Conventions routinely have them cancel.Concerts routinely get cancelled. The issue stems from a very specific culture divide. American Beuracracy is front loaded, meaning you do all the work way ahead of time to guarantee slowdowns don't cause any problems.Japanese beurocracy is back loaded, meaning nothing is "final" until everything is perfect. They tend not to sign contracts until every single thing is hammered out, and those contracts are requirements for obtaining the visas. This has been happening for at least the last decade, probably longer (though go much further back and not a lot of japanese celebs come to the us)Why doesn't it happen at electronics shows? Because they're salaried workers on a business trip. Dancers/Voice actors are contract workers. The ones they chose specifically for the american tour were ones who likely did most of their recordings 3 or 4 years ago, because the US game is that far behind. They may not have a renewed contract for them in time, and that contract might not be up to snuff with american visa standards.
>>51344728Usually visiting Japanese artists partner with a Western based booking firm, the rock groups do so. This keeps everyone on the same page. Hanabie, Nemophila, and Band-Maid had no issues on their tours this year (apart from Yukina's voice problems on a gig or two, which had nothing to do with visas).Personally, I'm mystified... an Umamusume show away from the Far East? There's actually an audience here?
>>51344740>There's actually an audience here?you know they did an event at the kentucky derby this year, right? And the kentucky derby is actively lobbying to get one of their horses in the game.Yes, there's very much an audience here. The main issue is almost certainly relating to when their contracts were signed, OR they filed for the wrong type of visa (some visas change how your overseas earnings are reported, so some agents routinely try to scam the system to save thousands of dollars)
>>51344740I know Twitter doesn't equate to real life but quite a few westerners there seem to like it. Do they like it enough to go to a real life event about it? Apparently so, though it would be funny if they didn't get the numbers they were hoping for to turn a profit so they just lied about visa problems to cancel without looking weak.

>>51344768Image if Trump personally listens to samples from every musician applying to approve or deny them based on whether or not he likes what he hears. He LOVED Band-Maid but not so much the horse girls.
>This has been happening for at least the last decade, probably longer (though go much further back and not a lot of japanese celebs come to the us)Tons of them do for yearly no name anime cons. Hell even touhoufest managed to get people in fine, it's not exactly a hard thing. I'm willing to bet more than not someone at the Cygames HQ completely fucked up somewhere and they realized they were fucking screwed. Given the timing this is on par with someone going to pick up their travel visa's day before the flight and realized they fucked up. This reminds me of some of the e-sports people who get denied yearly and it's always "DA USA SUX" only weeks later it comes out they completely fumbled the paperwork and didn't respond to any emails asking for clarifications regarding return flights, place of stay, proof of funds, income earned from the visit, additional emergency information, etc. I get compared to other countries visiting the US is a bit more of a hurdle but come on, it have million of these kinds of visas issued each year for performers. I'm willing to bet more than not, someone just missed some emails and then last minute just blamed US customs because it's such an easy punching bag everyone would believe to be at fault
>>51344838The funny thing is, the US isn’t a punching bag at all. It’s quite the opposite. Foreign artists here have very little leverage unless they’re legit legacy acts with decades of experience. A trendy act today like Umamusume is fairly unremarkable for the acts we normally get here.Anyways, they should have filed their paperwork correctly.
I think Umamusume is cool and all, and i want to have sex with the horse girls. That being said, the entire Umamusume fandom is full of insufferable faggots and they deserve their shit being cancelled. Whoever reserved the venue and sold tickets before, you know, CONFIRMING that the performers would actually be able to legally enter the country they are performing in is a retard. The number of absolute cattle that are having full on meltdowns on their xitter dot com page because shitty gachaslop company probably fucked up their visa paperwork is hilarious.
It's literally George Tolkien's 1984. We're doomed.
>>51345383bullshit, you can't even apply for a performer visa without a confirmed itinerary with dates and locations
Jaypee makes fun of the cute horsies and then the internet starts to burn. Serves you right.
CyGames going out of their way to be cucks.
They were on the news for going offline for pee-nn-pee (4chan too) ^__^
>>51343529I voted for this
>>51343529Rare US WHorse is way worse than cuckcolle, so I support whatever bad things happen to them
