Beretta 90 series pistols have a 16 to 20 pound hammer spring in them that makes the double action trigger pull 10 to 12 pounds.Buying a cheap 11, 12, or 13 pound hammer spring reduces the DA trigger to 5 to 6.5 pounds, making it much easier/nicer.I know some people here that do Comp shooting that use 10 or 11 pound springs but also skeleton/OP hammers to cut down on light primer strikes.On my Beretta I use a 12lb hammer spring from Wilson with the factory hammer, shot tons of ammo brands with no issues.
