European militaries are a joke because they don't politically value security at all. On paper most European militaries seem formidable but in practice they have very little capability without American involvement and terrible readiness rates. It would very much depend on the circumstances of the scenario but the Europeans would get mauled before they got their shit together. Poland is the only big country to take security seriously but still lacks the doctrinal experience of the IDF. Ukraine is the only one that would really do well just from all their experience

American here. Fuck Israel. Fucking parasites. Militarily it depends who is on offense and who is on defense. Europe has a better navy, Israel has a smaller but much better air force with far more combat experience, and the ground forces are both mediocre and heavily defense oriented, although again the IDF has more experience. Then again the IDF is mostly used to fighting underfunded sand people and only pick fights they know they will win. they have better power projection but are also very-loss averse. So, both are solid in defense, and maybe slight offensive edge to the Israelis because their military is more geared towards conquest, pillage, murder, ect. Ultimately it depends on the motive, in a full-out total war scenario that doesn't involve nukes, Europe would win with some significant losses because of its massive population advantage. With nukes Israel is toast. Realistically it's a stalemate after a limited conflict after both sides inflict significant casualties on the other.
