Do you seriously not know that the MP5 and HK53 are scaled down variants of a 7.62x51mm battle rifle? With a mechanically delayed blowback action, the weight of the bolt and the timing of the delay element are the parts which would need to be adjusted, optionally with a simple little impact buffer in the back of the receiver for the bolt to hit onto (the G3, MP5/10, and HK53 have this, the regular 9mm MP5 does not).You can make delayed blowback action guns for .50BMG and cannon shells.>Also why no 4.6x30 mp5?The real answer is that 4.6mm is a shit cartridge, but the H&K answer is that they wanted to make cheaper guns, which is why they have desperately tried to move away from roller-delayed actions for decades, but still hold on to the MP5 because it's what people really want.H&K really wanted to replace the MP5 with the cheap UMP, but nobody wanted the UMP, so it barely sold to anyone, while the MP5 lived on.
