double-action only colt single-action army
Looks like a no action
>>65183491All you have to do is pull the hammer if you want to see some action.
>>65183423my dicks hard continue you slut
Nice choice of western theme blanket as a backdrop
>>65183818Well aside from changing out some springs with ones from a Wolf spring kit (I believe that's the name) for a smoother and lighter action, I'm out of current stuff, but I can show you what I plan to do further in the future (assuming I don't get lazy):>Make it more like Baz Outlaw's slip gun with some tweaks (pic related)>Acquire a hammer that's as low as possible to make operating the gun easier (pic in next post)We'll see if this goes anywhere else, in the meantime, it's time to practice the slip gun technique with some dummy rounds because if I don't I run the risk of blowing up the gun. >>65183826Thanks.
>>65183818The other pic.
>>65183423I want the 1873 style, but as a DA/SA.
>>65184573Would be nice to see these Italian companies make an actual Colt Thunderer one of these days, though until then, the closest you can to an 1873 styled DA/SA revolver to my knowledge is pic related:
>>65186000I honestly just want them to do a new DA/SA lockwork and they still use the locking notches in the cylinder.A 4.5" barreled Super Blackhawk in .44 and with that kind DA/SA trigger would be one of my dream guns (add the swanky hourglass axis pin, then a Bisley hammer but with the plow grip).
>>65187044Now that you mention it, you reminded me of a guy on here who had made a double-action version of what I recall being a Colt pocket navy model; considering that it and the peacemaker share some similar parts, I do wonder if the process can be replicated. Unfortunately, though if he ever said stated how it was made, I am not aware, all I noticed was that the trigger on his pocket navy had a trigger that looked roughly like one from a Colt Thunderer. Anywho, while I prefer the mechanics of a non-Ruger peacemaker, your dream gun does sound nice; I hope you'll be able to acquire it one day.
