Are these cheap Chinese/Amazon accessories worth it?

Can pic related even hold zero?
>>
this is literally better asked elsewhere, /g/ has chinkshit generals and I will not validate you for being a poor retard who buys garbage
>>
>>65187245
Flashlight/laser combos are larp shit
>>
>>65187245
Yes. They are worth it.
>>
>>65187264
Most people don't mind spending money, but It's a fucking flashlight and laser. There's no reason for them to be as expensive they are.

You're so used to getting your ass plowed by surefire/steiner that you've got their jizz soaking into your brain.

If chinkshit can hold zero, then fuck it, it's good enough for sub $100.
>>
>>65187264
american gun owners aren't assaulting stalingrad. it doesnt have to be robust and battle-tested meeting some milspec. some people just was a light and laser for home defense. close range and in the dark.
>>
>>65187245
Not visible in daylight.
>>
Its fine for home defense. Chinkshit is good for cheap electronics at least
>>
>>65187245
Professional shilltuber and schizo FocusTripp seemed to have decent results with some of these chinkshit amazon brands.

Personally I wouldn't trust my life to some no-name LEM with a proprietary charger and non-removable battery.
>>
>>65187245
The lasers are never daylight bright, avoid for that reason. Flashlights are likely not tested, probably won't stand up to much recoil. Olight is kind of the barely acceptable tier for chinee stuff.
>>
>>65187245
No, they aren't.
No, it can't.
>>
>>65187584
I want to use them for cheap nvg plinking with my .22lr
>>
>>65187383
But how will all of the tactical fags impress their boyfriends with a cheap light?
>>
>>65187292
No nods nigga
>>
>>65187383
>If it holds zero
It wont. 500 dollar lasers have this problem too.
>>
>>65187245
SMS HFXC for $245 is bare minimum.
>>
>>65187245
It's the difference between a toy children play with and a tool men use to kill and avoid being killed by other men. It's also a very different ask to use something once in a bad situation vs. staying in a bad situation using something over and over again that if it breaks, reduces your survival odds.. So if you are playing around, ask how cool can you be and not feel dumb about what you paid. If you are going into hell, ask what is your life worth...
>>
>>65187735
>nod user needing non-ir flashlight
Just completely ignore the fact that 99.999% of gun owners will never actually end up using their gun in a self defense situation. And if they do, the nods are pointless. Show me a case where a homeowner used nods and dual laser/light attachments.
>>
>>65188985
I plan on being the first one, bitch.
>>
>>65187245
I have a cheap laser I slapped on a cheap DA pistol, just to use it when dry firing to watch how my aim jitters and improve my trigger pull. It didn't need to be able to hold zero for that purpose.
Nonetheless, I do take that gun to the range sometimes, and so I did go ahead and zero the laser just to see if lasers had any point, and it has held zero just fine for hundreds of shots.
>>
>>65189004
I mean, he has a plan...
>>
>>65187245
>Can pic related even hold zero?
No, and it never will unless you are willing to pot the electronics yourself and even you if you do, chances of it reliably holding zero are not great. Just the way these things are built to begin with. You are just better saving your money for a SMS or better yet, just get yourself an Holosun Iris if you're looking for laser aiming module for your rifle.
>>
>>65187245
Get the harbor freight tactical flashlight for $50 and an ir laser elsewhere
>>

Bought it 2 years ago for my basic bitch taurus g2c. Took it to the range and it held on and still functions to this day as my bedroom nightstand gun. The anon talking about how people are conditioned into paying more for the same BS is 100% right. I'm not taking this light or this handgun to Ukraine, with that in mind it fucking works fine
>>
>>65187383
>There's no reason for them to be as expensive they are
Correct
Unless you need them to hold zero
>>
>>65188985
>Just completely ignore the fact that 99.999% of gun owners will never actually end up using their gun in a self defense situation
I will. I shoot cans in a field at night with NVGs. Anything you can do during the day you can do at night and it's more challenging and therefore more fulfilling and more fun.

>If chinkshit can hold zero
It doesn't, and it generally will just break altogether after a while. Internals can't seem to withstand recoil impulse and I surmise they're just $2-10 normal flashlights repackaged and with a picatinny/mlok mount thrown in the box. It's better to just pay for a brand name. Olight is the cheapest chinesium that will actually withstand recoil (have one on a handgun that's still just fine after >1000 rounds) but really their prices aren't that much lower than reliable western brands anyway

I got pic related (tourbon 2" webbing sling) for my target rifle and in tan for my p14, I'll have to see how well they hold up for 40 kangaroos
>>
>>65191182
I'm >>65191169 and I'll say that, contrary to my experiences with chinesium weapon attachments and other chinesium products such as backpacks (imagine a shoulder strap tearing off from the seams on its very first trip, when you're 10+ miles innawoods - had to secure it with paracord which was miserable for my buddy) I have had nothing but good experience with chinkshit slings
>>
>>65191190
They're something hard to fuck up unless you get an uber cheapo. Spika stuff is probably just made in china anyway.

>>65191169
just get the harbor freight streamlight knockoff
they are like $50 and dont break & they feel about as solid as a real streamlight
the light itself is a bit more shit but fuck it, its still mostly waterproof and withstands recoils
>>
>>65187245
Depends what you put it on. Shotgun, no. Real rifle, no. Pistol (obviously not that particular one), no. 5.56 AR, probably. .22LR, very probably.
If you want to put it on your mother in law's Extar because her fucked up neck won't let her shoulder a gun, it'll probably do the trick. If you want to shove it on your operator larping gun and drag it through the mud as you FRT your hopes of owning a house downrange, you're in for disappointment.

I had a NC Star pistol light that worked for about 3 months before it died.
