Also when you miss a shot it's hard to tell why you did because there are no splashes, so you can't adjust and you just keep shooting wrong.

>>65192217nevermind it actually didnt hit the ship at all
>>65192134They are doing that, it's kinda hard to tell since the cameraman is nearly perpendicular line of fire but if you look closely you can see it. But you can also see that almost every single round is flying high over the drone's path, and only a handful of shots are too low. So like anon said >>65192061 they probably can't even see that they're aiming too high, especially with poor or nonexistent optics.

>>65192229look at their footage again anon either THEIR footage is from another attempt on which it hit whatever that thing in front of the ship is or its from this attempt and the angle is very weird
>>65192236The footage is of the same strike on the same ship you vodkanigger, and like every other successful long-distance strike of this kind, the fpv footage cuts out a second or two before impact. >>65191959something is in the way all those guns were shooting for a good 30 seconds, then an extremely slow large drone barging in, flying by and hitting the target
In their defense, they're pretty far out from the drone, using low caliber ammo, and not running full tracer belts. I think that would make aiming significantly easier. Not sure why you wouldn't have a few technicals with bed mounted ZSU-23-2s for this exact situation though.
>>65192368If Russia hasn't learnt to keep a few ZSUs and MANPADs around their ships by now they never will.

From a platform also moving in 3 dimensions, without the aid of knowing where their targets were coming from, against faster and more manuverable targets that shot back. Maybe the russians can get those old WW2 training films off youtube and let their conscripts watch them between rape sessions.
What I am confused about is there seems to be ATGM fired as well... At nothing. Also a lot of the rounds seemed to be fired nowhere near the drone when it actually arrives. Like at the start they're firing somewhere else. Was that a distraction drone or something?

>>65192453>>65192525>The Russian state isn't out of money, they lack foreign reservesMoney and reserves are only the medium of transfer, anon. Useful products and services are what the economy is really made of. Foreign reserves is, in principle, irrelevant to the question of how well their exports are doing. China for example exports fucktons of products but the yuan is not in high demand. In reality therefore what you're trying to say is that the Russian state lacks foreign INCOME, which is true. Russian exports have fallen by about half of prewar figures, in 2025 it accounted for only 13.5% of GDP.Which is why, as I said, they're tapping domestic currency, aka domestic products and services. The private entities they are inviting to buy Pantsirs with are companies owned by Russians and which sell products and services to Russians for profits which are kept by Russians. The State is asking them to pony up.

>>65191959How was anti air defense in Romania?
>>65192253When you look at the impact by frame it's pretty clearly a hit. As the light of the explosion fades you can even see the pier between the explosion and it's reflection. Absolute best case for the ship is the drone whacked the pier or something on it right next to the ship and detonated. Still would have damaged the vessel with that big of a boom that close. If it hit that was a nasty hit and there's a good shot either way it also just ate a big ass EFP too. The thing that tells me it definitely did damage is it you can see dust clearly come off the back of the ship for several frames. Containers next to it getting hit would not have prevented it from being badly damaged and might have merely added more shrapnel to the mix. That was a big fucking bomb and if by some miracle the ship is still afloat it's going to take a far bigger miracle for it to not be salvage. If the ship isn't absolutely fucked they're incredibly lucky.
