double up
you can spend more if you want but if you just want to protect your hearing, cheapo plugs + walker muffs are the way to go

I guess you could go for those expensive custom earplugs for concerts or whatever, and electronic muffs with bluetooth for music

Double up. Mack's 33 NRR plugs and whatever over ear muffs you want.

What they said but remember bone conduction is a thing so you'll never really block out more than 45-50 dB.

Amps +nfmi

probably running a suppressor in conjunction with a set of ear muffs and plugs. at that point though, it's like wearing a condom and pulling out though

I could teach you the tard method, with any handgun it works but you have to shoot one handed

Does anyone have experience with this set? Is the bluetooth sound quality as bad as the supreme pro x audio jack?
>>
Get the walkers with 4 microphones and Bluetooth. The only downside is they eat through AAAs.

Walker razors, for like $40, with some basic orange squishies. Even heavy shots indoors feel like a soft thump and I can still hear people talking clearly from 4 booths down.

>put little gay silicone earplugs in
>put big earmuff headphones over that
>can shoot everything from .22lr to .45-70 no problem

I have shot much more .50 BMG with Honeywell Howard Leight and no in-ear underneath than I should have, in hindsight. Plus many thousands of rounds of all calibers, and a few explosives. Despite all that, my hearing tests still score identical to how they did when I was 18. No tinnitus either of course. Pretty fucking good for one of the cheapest and most popular electronic earpro.

I have the Peltor sport tac 500's and they're nice. I've had them for many years but my ears get sweaty in the summer months and I've been thinking about swithching to the earbud style ones.
