The war is at home, friend. The information war.

There’s no reason a solider in a free country shouldn’t be able to purchase and use his own rifle, it’d cut down massively on the bullshit grifts of the MIC. The only reason it’s not allowed is that the authoritarian wannabe aristocrats fear a free and armed populace who can resist their mandatory lame faggotry like corporate culture.

Yeah man, not being able to have an armorer use a single pool of tools and parts to repair rifles on operations would be fucking sweet. Everyone in a squad having a different type of magazine, possibly a different manual of arms, different optics and different preferred ammo for reliability would be so dope. Coaching everyone for different windages and holdovers for their snowflake rifle's snowflake barrel length would make range days a breeze. Drawing everyone's private weapons from the armory for every range day would be so easy and make things run so much more smoothly than it already does with way less time wasted.

There are no free countries anymore, or peoples. Just economic zones and consumers. So you need to be goyslopped and sent to another continent to secure Lockheed Martin's profits and the state of israel. If you die they're importing indians to replace you(they do this even if you live but why would one want to live in a world like that anyway?)

They figured out centuries ago that real armies operate best on standardized systems. Until very late in the war Continental troops were required to provide their own molds, while the British could just issue balls.

Bad idea.

imagine being "able to purchase your own firearm" mean that you can bring whatever the fuck you want.
there's still code and rules in the army, it's not a mercenary company.
Gov't says, riflemans can only have M4 or M16 pattern rifles, you are now able to buy parts that are DoD approved for your gun without waiting for daddy gov't or the pentagon to say "oh yeah, let's upgrade our weapons" when you can do it yourself, you can even purchase a brand new gun if yours is a beat down to shit rifle.
you could purchase your own handgun as long it's also approved, you're not squadlead ? who give a fuck, pass the field training for the current service weapon then go purchase one and carry it, your kit is too heavy now ? you're own problem, it's your gun.
the only thing it wouldn't apply to is explosive like AT weaponry and grenades, but you can purchase your M203/M320 if you passed the training for it.

the goal is instead of having to wait for the pentagon to make a mass purchase on small arms which only happen once in a blue moon since they are too busy spending on more R&D and other wunderwaffen bullshit, you instead can pay for your personnal rifle if you judge it's not performing enough or if it's too damaged, that way it guarantee that the soldier is always well equipped and prepared for war at any time.

Everything you say is retarded. Have you ever tried un-retarding yourself? Like maybe you could read a few books and not post here for a few years.
