The Fix was the first attempt of the market at making a production rifle that comes with all of the upgrades out of the box for noobs and intermediate shooters to save time and spare themselves frustration. Personally, if you already own a good bolty the you don't need something like the Fix, but many people getting into the game now seem to like stuff like the Fix, the SIG Cross, the Christensen Arms MPR, Springfield Armory Redline, Sako 90 Finnlight, Gen 2 Ruger American, etc.

A 6.5 Creedmoor can be lighter than a .300 WinMag without feeling awful when fired.
