How I got it is not important, how do I clean it? Since its dirty and stinky. Do I wash it with water? Or use a washing machine And how to effectively dry it afterwards Also help me identify the model
Looks fake ngl
>>65202220Smells realJust has its electronics removed
>>65202212Depends on the material.Try soaking it in cold water with detergent, then a separate wash with water and vinegar, than another wash with water baking soda and a few drops of a strong essential oil (I like cinnamon), then another with water and isopropyl alcohol. If all that doesn't work you can try ozone generators or chlorine dioxide but this can damage the fabric so try the others first. If there's any wool, avoid hot water.

>>65202212Update: just dumped it in a washing machine and let it dry outside. Seems undamaged
Look up how boomers clean ball caps with like borax or some shit like that. Probably applies here unless it has a buff against western chemicals
>>65202414Jesus. Soviet sturdiness remains unchanged
>>65202414Risky. You better be damn sure it gets dried well, lord knows what sort of padding is used in that, and if it retains water from the wash like a sponge its going to be a nasty moldy mess in short order.
>>65202220Brand new ones look stupid because they're badly made.
>>65202212How did you get it?
>>65202621loot drop from well-fed Bakhmut pupper
>>65202621Bought it on Allegro for 27 dollars
>>65202475Thankfully its hot as fuck here now so it should dry
>>65202212be honest - a skull was blown in it, innit?
>>65202212vinegar usually works on musty stinky milsurp in my experience. just make sure you have a good place to dry, especially if it's an area with decent humidity. could get some silica gel packs if you think it needs it
>>65203134What kind of vinegar?
>>65203724White. Always white. Works fantastic for cleaning bathrooms too.
>>65203726Soo is that apple cider vinegar or spirit vinegar
>>65204323Spirit
