Has the state of the economy affected your desire of the firearm hobby?Feels like in 2017 or so I was getting a new (used) gun monthly through Armslist and enjoying life a lot more, shooting regularly. Now it's 2 or 3 times a year at absolute most. I dunno anons, times feel tight but I also have a lot of what I already need stockpiled, so no need to buy anything.
my income has been going up as prices go upso I just feel like I've been stuck in the same place financially for the last 15 yearsraises don't cover inflation but every few years ill change jobs or get a promotion that evens it all out, keeping me in a place where I can either live a comfortable life with some personal purchases like firearms and no savings or tighten down my spending and live like I'm poor then maybe one day have a home down paymentbeen choosing option 1 so far

Usually i knock out 24 rounds of whatever after work and by Saturday I have like 120 rounds of whatever I feel like practicing. 2016-2020 was unusually cheap because they overproduced ARs/mags/ammo out the ass because people planned for a hillary win and some executive order to ban all semi autos or whatever. Then corona/riots hit and all that overproduced shit was sold out in a matter of months. Highly highly doubt ammo will ever return to the prices before the mega inflation after lockdowns.

I play with the idea of buying new guns but I think I'm going to just get two or three suppressors, and then buy gear, magazines, and ammo for what I already have. I'm pretty satisfied with what I have.Might pick up the civilian MP7 if it releases and after the kinks have been worked out, but that probably won't happen for a long time, if it does at all.
>>65202218100%. I do unloaded readying and unholstering drills, a rack/aim/dryfire/reload mag and repeat routine, and practice moving my gun of choice fluidly between rooms in my apartment. Sometimes I do some calisthenics and run the movement drill to simulate using the gun under duress. I shoot 3-4 times a year just to verify I can shoot decent enough groups at range and do double taps at close range. I used to shoot much more often before the Scamdemic and the associated inflation. I always knew the government was simply going to make ammo unaffordable so as to truly implement the gun control agenda.
