They were leasing each house for $55k for 99 years (that doesn't sound very profitable), and then they started looking for any reason to kick out the people already leased to and then lease the house again to a new person. There are 100+ tenants complaining that there still aren't any of the amenities they were promised (working sewage system, a restaurant/cafeteria, a shelter to serve as a horse stable, etc.) and that the employees are constantly harassing them. The truth is that the company from California is fleecing all of these suckers from South Dakota (I know they are suckers because if the US were attacked by nukes, I definitely wouldn't want my bunker to be anywhere near an Air Force base; that's a prime target to get nuked).
