>ask why theres no .22 wmr lever actions with a side load gate >"LE BRASS CANT HANDLE IT SONNY BOY">tfw .32 s&w long can handle it just fine and .22 wmr doesnt use a shitty heeled bulletSurely they could make a side gate with like a lighter spring or something
>>65208750>.32 s&w long can handle it just fineI don't know why they don't make this gun you want, but let me point out that .32 S&W long is a centerfire bullet, so it has thicker case walls than a rimfire bullet. You should have mentioned .22 LR instead.
>>65208750>22 wmr lever actions with a side load gatethat sounds like it would be super annoying to load.
>>65208811.32 s&w is also a heel-type bullet. The problem isn't with the ignition system, it's with the way the bullet interfaces with the cartridge. Heel type bullets become unseated easily when pressure is applied to the side of the bullet, as when inserting the cartridge into a side loading gate. The colt lightning design worked around this by having a loading tube that flexed to the side, so cartridges could be interfered head on rather than by having pressure applied to the side.
>>65208750>ask why theres no .22 wmr lever actions with a side load gatebecause almost nobody would want to buy it, and the people who DID want to buy it would balk at the price
