If you legitimately have the credentials I'd go around asking for those. Safariland is super sus about the 2240. Usually when it comes to armor that means the product is exceptional. My argument with A2 the otherday wasn't the first time I went down the open bolt rabbit hole. Years ago, I learned what the Boomers were referring to (if not unwittingly) when they told you that "cutting the disconnector makes a gun full auto." The firing pin and sear of a TEC-9 reset after the bolt strikes a shutter bar to disconnect the trigger. If you simply cut it short for clearance, the sear will not reset and the firing pin will travel with the bolt (slam fire).
