Aight /k/, the following drone exploded in Constanta, Romania. I live near Constanta, but I cannot for the love of god figure out what kind of drone it is and what's with the radars(/fuel tanks?) on top of it.I assume it's a Ukrainian Sea Baby drone, but the shape isn't the same. Other Ukrainian drones don't fit, other Russian drones don't fit, the Romanian MoD claims it's not theirs but of "Russo-Ukrainian war origin".Is this a new drone design or some Mad Max contraption with nice paint over it? The Romanian press seems completely incompetent on the matter.
>>65210078Another theory I heard is that the Russians somehow stole a Ukrainian drone and refitted it so that it would go the other way.In the news: apparently the drone got stuck in some oil leak barriers (the orange things in the pic) and apparently that stopped it from getting to the petrol ships in port/blocking the Danube-Black Sea canal.Video of the drone:https://www.youtube.com/shorts/gDNPudeb7ZUAlso, live moments from the explosion since I know you want some kino:https://www.youtube.com/shorts/E527erc7F3Mhttps://www.youtube.com/shorts/OYG3cjTcI_0https://youtu.be/Bw1Jgakfq1Y
>>65210087It's not like the russians haven't captured a few drones and can build one that looks like them. They know they can't attack NATO directly so trying to false flag a Ukranian attack is their next best option.>but whyTo make it look like the Ukranians are false flagging a russian attack to draw NATO countries into the war of course. They can stand there and go "See perfidious piggers stop at nothing to expand war" and try and get European countries to cut support. They're going to be pushing this narrative especially hard since Orban got ousted because Fico is under threat of Article 7 without another EU state to veto it. They need at least two EU members opposed to Ukraine (or in russia's pocket at least) to hold up aid/sanctions/ascension proceedings.
>>65210078I suspect it's ziggerian. Look at how many comms modules it has. Porkies don't use that many, because they have Starlink. Ziggers can't rely on it, though, since their terminals are always under threat of being blacklisted. So they back them up with a shitton of other transceivers.
>>65210098>>but whyit's not that I don't buy Russia creating a false flag, is that I don't believe they're competent enough to steal a Ukrainian drone. I somehow believe that this was made to look like a Ukrainian drone from afar. It looks very rudimentary to me.>They're going to be pushing this narrative especially hard since Orban got ousted because Fico is under threat of Article 7 without another EU state to veto it. They need at least two EU members opposed to Ukraine (or in russia's pocket at least) to hold up aid/sanctions/ascension proceedings.Yea, sounds like it. We're in the middle of a political crisis with a huge risk of new parliamentary elections where AUR and other pro-Russian parties might win.
>>65210124>Porkies don't use that many, because they have Starlink. The starlink antenna is that "hatch cover" up front.
>>65210126Ziggers have captured multiple Ukrainian drones, especially after the failed attack on Novorossiysk, when Elmo did a retard and shut off Starlink (because he pissed his pants when Volodya yelled at him).
>>65210130>The starlink antenna is that "hatch cover" up front. Yes, and, as I've said, >they back them up with a shitton of other transceivers. Because they can't rely on them, the Starlink terminal could be blacklisted at a moment's notice.
My guess is that this is an ukie drone that lost power and comms and then drifted ashore. If it still had comms the ukies would have sent out a boat to salvage it if it was in safe waters. It must have had drifted quite a distance.
>>65210140It didn't drift, because the quay where it got stuck is well inside the harbour. It was piloted inside.
>>65210140Nope. Constanta is like 140km away from the nearest Ukrainian border. The way the drone entered the port is suspicious as well, because it would be mother of all coincidences that it managed to get inside the port, as the North/North-East parts are basically walls, and it had to enter via the Southt.RomanianAnon
The components on the hull (that black circle thing with two sockets) and the optronic turrets can be found on the ukrainan sea wolf series. Also, note that algae has started to grow on the lower hull, and the topside has algae growth in grooves that collect water. This drone has drifted for quite some time, at least two weeks.
Here, scroll down to the sea wolf. https://www.hisutton.com/Ukrainian-USVs-Russo-Ukraine-War.htmlIts clearly a variant of the topmost sea wolf.
>>65210151>The way the drone entered the port is suspicious as well, because it would be mother of all coincidences that it managed to get inside the port, as the North/North-East parts are basically walls, and it had to enter via the SouthIt drifted inside the harbor from the south, got stuck somewhere, then the wind shifted, and it drifted in another direction. Then someone finds it and wonders how it got there. This thing floats rather high so it should drift mostly with the wind and not with the currents.
>>65210126It doesn't need to be a perfect 1:1 match, like always the russians depend on lies, useful idiots, and their own agents. It looks "like" a Ukranian drone and that's close enough for the people that will push their narrative and the people that vote for them. Reality often doesn't matter because most people are too stupid to do more than go through life on feels.>>65210166Anything is possible, but I find it unlikely that a drifting drone punched through an oil barrier like that. A captured drone left in russian "care" or one built to resemble it (and left under the same "care") would certainly have growth on it.
>>65210166>>65210171at the same time, if you look closer, it doesn't really look like the Ukrainian one. The rear vents area looks wide, in comparison to my pic where they are narrow. Not to mention the modules/radars/tank storages are different. The back radar is missing. There is no rear radar that is on the metal scaffold.>>65210177Not that much, see pic.
according to ukies it's one of theirs. they blame zigger EWhttps://x.com/UA_NAVY/status/2062867055116763497
>>65210181If you look at the top sea wolf picture in the hisutton link, you will see that it has the same hull form as this drone, meaning that it came off the same mold, but the deck is partially different with a wider engine cover. The optronic tower on the harbor drone has the same details as the optronic tower on the seawolf in the top picture, and the harbor drone also has the same forward facing fixed camera as well as other fittings found on sea wolf drones. The drone clearly drifted in from the south going north, drifted past where it was found, then the wind shifted, and it drifted southsouthwest and got stuck. Wind shifting explains how it got itself wedged into these floats. I dont know what the task of this drone was, but I guess this was a command and control or electronic survelliance drone with a 2ndary attack function since these black things seem to have antenna housings attached to them. This drone has an unusually large amount of antennas.
>>65210221How would that account for the oil barrier being cut in half and damaged? A hull drifting over, or into, it wouldn't cause that damage. The only logical assumption is the engine was working when the prop made contact with the oil barrier, wrapped it up in the prop causing the visible damage before being fouled causing the engine to seize up. Thus, the logical conclusion would be the drone was piloted into the harbor.
initial report> it's russianonce someone identifies it and posts pics claiming otherwise> it's a ukrainian drone that russia stole and usedafter someone pointed out the starlink> it's ukrainian but russia hacked it's navkek lmfao. shills are too funny.
>>65210250>How would that account for the oil barrier being cut in half and damaged? If you zoom in, you will see that it has extensive abrasion damage. It has been grinding against something for quite some time. My guess would be a rope.
>>65210327..then someone posts a twitter link where the ukies say that it is their drone but it is still russian somehow.
I read news that this drone exploded.
>>65210341that's how they're phrasing it now. earlier today it was "russian drone attacks port." now it's "ukrainian drone explodes after amlfunction caused by russia." journalistic integrity at work.
>>65210349Are you MAGA or russian? You deranged loonies have the same rhetoric.Well, looking at how hard you're trying to slide it, it seems the drone was in fact russian.
Having a starlink terminal doesn't mean anything. If it was a captured drone, why would the ziggers bother removing it? It's like having a broken car stereo, why remove it if you have nothing to put in its place? It would be just a waste of time.
>>65210356I am neither maga nor russian. but you are free to think whatever you like. you don't care about truth clearly.
>>65210361Then why are you talking like one? >you don't care about truth clearly.Yeah, I don't care about your social.
>>65210365why are you bringing up politics on a weapons board?
>>65210372You tell me: >>65210327>>65210349
>>65210377nobody mentioned political parties but you> MAGAI've only mentioned two warring nations' official statements on a drone strike. cope
>2 large nations have an exploding robot war>neighboring countries act shocked when exploding robots accidently end up on their bordersWhy are Europoors and slaveniggers like this?
>>65210130It's not like they remove old ones
official statement from romania. ukraine admitted that they simply lost control of the drone. no russian involvement.
>>65210401Cool. That answered that mystery.
>>65210401I read news that say russians jammed it.
>>65210384Because they (especially romanistanis) desperately want to avoid actually doing something about it. There are a lot of domestic politicians who have all sorts of dirty deals with ziggers, and openly going against them would cause a fair bit of retaliation, like compromising info popping up on some europrosecutor's table.
>>65210384Because everyone involved has incentives to escalate, and so the slightest miscalculation causes a furor.>zigger drone hits Romanian apartment last week>that missile that crash-landed in Poland a few years ago>the Ukes bombing Nord StreamJust a few examples.
>>65210078>RomaniaThey stole it.
>>65210440They lied
>>65210401english motherfuckerdo you speak it
>>65210078At this point all the copper wire of the drone isnt there, right?
>>65210401I wouldn't really trust anything coming from us, frankly. Not that there's some grand conspiracy underneath it all and you have to be a terminal contrarian to make sense of things, but the only consistent position we've had is crass incompetence and cuckoldry of the highest degree. They'd much, much rather lie through their teeth and downplay everything than risk bothering any of the worthless army boomers/siloviki (who'd at most get pushed sooner into their obscene-pension retirements as reward for a lifetime of keeping us safe from NATO/USA/EU/indoor plumbing) or fuel the political opposition's popularity through the fear-of-war card (whose mantra has always been "neutrality" and fiercely oppose each and every even smallest attempt to increase defense capabilities as that would trigger the mighty puccian bear and/or bring about globalist 5G Covid state dictatorship).Sorry, Eurobros, but if you want us as a first line of defense, you'll have to completely dissolve our "army" and use that money as rent for stationed foreign troops. It is what it is.
>>65210948We unironically need to put all those subhumans living in forgotten backwater villages to death. I can 100% guarantee you that things will immediately get better that way.
