I'm thinking about picking one of these up this summer to jump into flintlock hunting this winter.Anyone have any experience with these?Is it possible to mount something like a scoutrifle scope forward of the lock and frizzen without ruining it?
Okay before you do that, are you just looking to get into a muzzleloading season or do you want something cool to shoot?

>>65210450Then yes that will serve you fine. In terms of ruining it you can't really ruin it, its not a proper replica nor is it historically accurate or significant. Its a musket shaped modern manufactured black powder gun. I don't know how good the glass is, but Traditions sells a kit for mounting scopes.
