micro suppressors: based or cringe?

curious about backpressure and how much you can shoot it before the fowling messes with the suppression
>>

If there were no suppressor laws, I could see some people using short blast chamber devices on carbines to reign in some of the blast and noise, but while letting the gun stay short. Think the Colt Moderator but modern.

Can't trust those damn fowl to not mess with your suppression. Especially the waterfowl.

General Dynamics bought out some suppressor company that made microsuppressors, and used them on their NGSW entry. They were military only in the first place, but their stuff was apparently insanely good (I don't have the video footage, but if someone knows the name you can find it on their old website before the buyout). Obviously though this means that they'll never hit the civilian market because no one can have nice things.

unless you're using some exotic design, i have no idea why you'd use it
it doesn't do enough to cut down sound, nor does it even remove flash

i guess if you've shortened your barrel to be short as fuck its okay for cycling, but at that point you're getting into fps speeds that a even fucking pistol can btfo, so why would you bother doing that?

The company was Delta P Design, and they're weren't military only before True Velocity (not General Dynamics) bought them out.

Even at six inches you can get over 2k fps from 5.56, ammunition depending. 2000 is considered a high bar for pistol ammunition, and 5.56 still has significantly more sectional density than most pistol rounds.
