there are better pistols with rotating barrels if that's why you're interested in this

Nah
>>
Once you do a trigger job to it, change out that main spring, and ditch those awful decocking levers, yes

this, it becomes the top DA/SA carry gun in my opinion, 6 pound DA, sub 3 pound SA. relatively slim, low profile, and does have some recoil reducing characteristics
>>
The compact doesn't have the rotating barrel does it? I was told only the full size had the rotating barrel by and old guy at a gun show and haven't been able to deduce the truth.
>>
>>65224549
I believe you're thinking of the sub-compact
>>
Pretty good. Felt recoil was very "linear", which makes sense on how the barrel works.
If you do buy used, make sure to replace all the springs. I forgot to replace the recoil spring on mine when I bought it used and it kind of felt like a sped up roller delay.

Elite taste.

Subcompact is the 'different' Px4 series pistol.
The full size and Compact Beretta Px4 share the original Beretta 8000 rotating-barrel operating system.

I wished I had picked up a USP 45 fullsize back then when they were sub $700 used.
>>
its a bit fat compared to modern carry guns.

Oh, so the px4 is like a glock, once you replace every stock component on it with after market parts it's suddenly (((good))).

no? I meant if you bought a used gun, you don't know how much rounds have been put through it. When I got mine used, I forgot to replace the recoil spring, so the slide was coming back pretty violently. After putting in a new factory spring, that recoil got muted.

I mean, they're guns.

I picked up this USP45 Tactical for 900 bucks locally, one of my better buys.
>>
>>65224922
checked, yes for carry the only thing to fault the Px4 series is its width.
(for example) This is thinner
>>
>>65223374
It is fine

yeah if you want to be a faggot about it

How do you hold the USP? I would imagine that you can't hold it like a 1911, where you can ride the safety with your thumb.
>>
>>65225648

I always just put my thumb under it, never had a problem either with the USP45T or the USP45c that I've had since 2008
>>
>>65225695
Sick. I'm torn between either the USP45 Tactical or a straight up Mark23. Strictly for MGS larping of course.

Both are great options. I plan on getting a Mark 23 down the line at some point.
>>
>>65225648
I can rest my thumb on it. You have to learn to just rest the thumb and not drive down the safety so it doesn't decock
>>
>>65225879
>>65225781
I sold my mk23 after like 4 months. it kinda sucks to shoot.
>>
They are very good. It's a chunky, heavy gun for its small size, so if you don't plan on carrying it, skip the regular full size and go for the G-sd model.

The trigger is quite good, and can be made to be excellent with Langdon parts. It's heavy, but shoots very well.
