Post good examples of battlefield improvisation. Preferably by "actual" militaries, so no ISIS technicals and whatnot.

Nice, never seen this longer version.
Those guys clearing worm infestations from cellars have a cool job.

Can't say the same about their clients. What is Russia even trying to accomplish? Anyone who accidentally gets through the front just digs into some ruins where he patiently waits for death.

>Anyone who accidentally gets through the front just digs into some ruins where he patiently waits for death.
that's basically what happen whenever a unit is isolated and stuck on the front, you either surrender and hope your enemies capture you alive or keep fighting a desperate fight until death happen.

The thing is, this is all they ever do. Has been like this for years now.
Russia has absolutely no plan. It's just
1) MEATWAVES
2) ?????
3) PROFIT

They all really are just expected to die like lemmings. And hopefully attrite enemy munitions while doing so. Apparently they've yet to realize that manufacturing suicide drones is much faster and somewhat cheaper than manufacturing ziggers. There is no plan beyond that.

Whenever someone accidentally survives the killzone they're just isolated and helpless. They're not supporting anyone advancing behind them, nobody is supporting them, there are no attempts to exploit the situation and create a bigger breakthrough. They just go wait in a pile of rubble to die. Contesting a piece of land for a moment by hiding in ruins until they die of dehydration or get cleared out by ukie infantry. Completely pointless, this strategy is going nowhere.

Russia is just so unfathomably useless at war. Everyone on their side knows this is going nowhere, yet they keep doing it. I can't even.

Is that the skeltal remains of a Russian soldier at the 45 second mark?
>>
>>65226249
You get 10 guys behind the frontline, it becomes much more dangerous to operate in that village knowing any cellar may ventilate your ass.
>>
>>65226363
That's a big if considering that we know that the Russians end up murdering one another if they start to form groups larger than 2-3 men (of course, thats if the OG group doesn't have a violent drunkard that beats the other 2)
>>
>>65226363
No you don't understand.
They don't even have that level of coordination.
The biggest infestation we've cleared was 6.
And the rats don't pose much of a threat before you corner them in their nest.
They're not trying to control the territory or engage anyone. They just hide in there, waiting for death. Their plan has no future.

S-8.
A big-ass folding-fin rocket, meant to be fired from aircraft rocket pods during ground attacks.
But the ziggers shoved one into a drainpipe and hooked it up to an improvized firing unit.

Instalacion de tiro berreta, literally translates to shitty firing setup. Developed by Argentina during the Falklands War. It's an airborne Exocet retrofitted to fire from ground, mounted on scrap metal. Worked better than it looked.
>>
>>65226930
correction. it was a sea launched exocet adapted to fire from land. Disabled HMS Glamorgan.

In the documentary '2000 metres to Andrivka' The Ukrainians who actually make it just find basements and hide because the fight to get there fucked them up pretty bad. Sometimes all you can do is just occupy rubble until somone orders otherwise.

>thinking de jure anything means shit
Do they have to be on the UN Security Council to count as an "actual" military? Fuck off neverserved, ISIS did plenty of real fighting.

If you think thats what OPs differentiation was then you're retarded
