What is better for .357 Magnum? 125 gr or 158 gr bullets? Most loads seem to be 158gr but all the JHP loads seem to be 125grTried searching but it just lead to a bunch of forum arguments and i'd rather be shot in the head than read boomers on gun forums.
The fattest fucking SWC you can make (175gr).

>>65229573>125 gr or 158 gr bullets? In 6", 8", and longer barrels, the .357 Magnum aficionados will use the 158-grain (or heavier) bullet. However, since most people carrying a revolver are using 2", 3" and 4" barrels, there is a case for the 125-grain, as those barrels aren't long enough to get the 158-grain moving as fast as it should be. I suppose that the 5-6" ones are at the limit where you can go with either one.
Take the 140 grain .357 pill
>>65229573Go fuck yourself. Oh you just read a "Boomer" on a "gun forum".I would be happy tof ix your head for you, also.(and it wouldn't be a crappy .355" slug, either.)
>>65229573Unless you have actual hard rejection to either the velocity, penetration, handloading powder choice, twist, recoil, it doesn't matter.
