In a real life scenario where one uses a gun, there's going to be a lot of adrenaline involved which could throw things off. Training to shoot in just a sterile environment like a shooting range seems like it's not sufficient since you'll be calm there. Is there some way to train in a way which simulates a real scenario? Would it be retarded to do something like take 600 mg of caffeine before shooting to get the heart going to practice shooting with something kinda like fight or flight? Or maybe snorting an adderall?

This is all true, unfortunately, we haven't managed to convince politicians that convicts on death row make good target practice.

besides that, if you're that dedicated to the effort, I would suggest using an ice bucket. A quick dump in ice water, or having a bucket of ice water dumped on your head triggers the flight or fight response you're talking about. It will be a whole lot better than your suicidal 600 mg of caffeine.
Plus it's summer.

I realized that caffeine now makes me so jittery, I can’t have any up to like 6 hours before shooting, otherwise I’m all other the place.

No, you fucking retard. You train in calm conditions so you can identify and correct any issues you have so that in turn you develop proper habits and muscle memory. That way when you are in a high stress environment your response is as close to automatic as you can get as a human being.

Just do some cardio, man. Sprints, burpees, anything to get your heart-rate up. If you can still shoot well in that state, then start looking at adrenaline specifically.

t. someone who shoots once every 3 months and its just magdumping a single poster-sized target in half an hour then leaving.

Just play airsoft m8

I don't know about taking a bunch of caffeine to get the jitters, but the best you can do is get good under ideal conditions, maybe do some stress shoots and competition.

Just get your friends to shoot at you and vice versa.

The closest thing you can get in a controlled environment is competition style run and gun stage shooting where you're doing cardio and then shooting in short order. Airsoft is also a fun and somewhat useful LARP if you have friends who are willing to prentend the guns are real instead of doing zoomer speedsoft bullshit.

by the time something ends, thats when the adrenaline will hit
shootings usually end quick, or go on so long you fall off the high
>>
>>65241047
In stressful situations, you fall to the level of your training. Muscle memory is real.

What's stopping you from building your own shoot house?

Go airsofting.

The best training to simulate what you're talking about, that I've received, is simround scenarios which are just airsoft matched basically. These are gonna be multiple shooter team scenarios so not really realistic to what you'll face, but your opponent is mobile and shooting back at you so it changes your perspective. You'll experience tunnel vision, auditory exclusion (it's not just from gunshot noise, it's caused by the adrenaline), and fat handedness or just forgetting procedures like reloading or finishing clearing the area. Eventually less adrenaline dumps and you'll get it down to a procedure that you remember.

I'd set up something where one guy has a gun and you have to go shoot him, or you're in a group and one unknown guy comes up to you and draws. You'd need a group to do this and multiple people to play witness/victims. Mass shooting scenarios are fun where you have people screaming on the ground distracting you while you're trying to handle the threat. The vast majority of you have no training, not even to the point of basic airsoft matches, and will do so fucking horribly in a real situation. You see that a lot in civilian self defense videos where they run at the threat shooting one handed, seemingly with their eyes closed, leaving cover never to return, going aroind corners blindly, running right past second shooters, etc.

You have to get the hard skills down before you start trying retarded shit. If you want to add stress then go sign up for USPSA, IDPA, GPA, or PCSL.
>>

The only stress is a timer. That's gay notraining shit.
>>
>>65241047
It's far better to practice with strobes, pyro effects, shit like that. Your goal is stability in chaos. I used to practice with a friend while we randomly shot each other in the face with supersoakers during 1 and 3 round targets. Almost anything that fucks with your concentration helps.

Just do the Super Carbine Course and experience Jostling™. https://youtu.be/3ZWkHOTpAsM

Real answer is stress innoculation, which caffeine won't help with. You can simulate the physiological, but not psychological, effects by doing intense exercise before shooting to get your oxy sat low and pulse rate high to tank your fine motor skills.
>>
>>65242424
wait I misremembered, there's no jostling there, I'll find the right one for you.
>>
>>65242437
Jostling™ must be in the curriculum for the Super Pistol Course instead. https://youtu.be/UBD92xtgA4I

Maybe there's a cool guy with an airsoft or paintball course who would let you use real guns with blanks as long as you check and double check and cross-verify all ammo on the course is blanks. The way civil war reenactors do it is they have to go down if they see a muzzle flash from a gun pointed at them. Or just do airsoft with a gun as close to your gun as you can, but it will still be different. Or just play paintball.
Or just run and go to the range on different days.

I never found him funny and always felt he was overrated. Sad to see his face and hear his voice again after all these years. Like all furfags he can yiff in hell.

stress and fear aren't the same thing.
The reason people turn into blabbering shit retards in stressful situations is because everything seems confusing at the same time, just look at cctv footage people just stand there.
You need to make your environment familiar. The cafeine jitters for me for example only seem to be obvious when I do something quite unfamiliar like talking to a beautiful girl.
the more stressed out the more you will find things to stress about. Most things should look and sound familiar, not everything. Go the 80/20 approach
>>
under stress i go predator mode or something and hyperfocus the fuck out, the few times i've been in real stressful situations i've felt time slows down, my mind is operating at full capacity and i'm able to execute everything perfectly

happened to me when my brother and sister-in-law flipped in a 4wheeler and i pulled them out in like 10 seconds, taking out my knife, cutting the seatbelts, and pulling them out of the car

>caffeine, adderal
unfortunately these would still mimic only the physical adverse effects that might arise in combat, for the full physiopsychological package the perfect experience would be rape, specifically churka rape for the added humiliation

now you understand
