I have never shot a gun that had prohibitive recoil, apart from a mare's leg with big boy .44 loads but thats a meme gun. I never understand people that complain about snappy recoil, i have shot subcompact .40 s&w's and while if you shoot it back to back with a directly comparable 9mm youll notice its more, its not prohibitive and shooting it alone poses no problem at all and staying on target in a reasonable time is not an issue. If youre a competition shooter where 0.05 seconds make a difference in winning or losing, then by all means, but as a defensive choice unless you cannot control the recoil then there is no problem in valuing slight ballistic superiority over slightly better recoil impulse. I think people mentally prime themselves to feel like recoil is worse than it really is, because theyre retarded faggots who are suggestible and so upon hearing through the reddit grapevine that fuddy five has too much recoil, when they go to shoot a .45 they feel like its more than it is. Anyway theres my rant, eat my short dick and offer input if you like
