Whats a good fuddy five pistol with good capacity and durability for around $800-1200? Asking for a friend (the friend is me, i have no friends)
fnx45. fn striker fired guns suck shit but their hammer fired are still awesome >havent tried 309 yeti suspect it shoots like dogshit
>>65254102Look no further than the USP, anon. The FNX-45 and HK45 are also good, but not quite on the same level unless you absolutely must have a standard picatinny rail. The USP, unlike the other two, is good to handle .45 Super and .450 SMC without modification, which is neat.
>>65254102Tisas 1911>lords caliber>dont need more than 7-8 rounds>plenty durable>spend the rest of the budget on bullets
Check out the Grand Power P45L. DA/SA with a unique rotating barrel mechanism. It has the best recoil impulse of any autopistol I've ever fired.>>65254173kindly refrain from recommending turkshit here anon.
>>65254102glock 21. might wanna wait for gen 6 tho
>>65254507It just looks like an ugly cheap pellet gun, no thanks.
I like my HK45C. 8+1 rounds with the standard mags or 10+1 with the extended mag.If you want more capacity, then go with a FN or Glock.
>>65254507>recs Grand Power anything>acts like he's above Tisasnot even that anon but holy shit that's funny
>>65254102I have an ATI Fatboy, which is a subcompact double-stack 1911 that takes Para Warthog mags of 12 and 14 variety. I can't in good conscience recommend buying one without knowing that you'll be replacing the internals if you want something well-functioning, but damn does it feel good to carry and shoot after all was said and done.In lieu of that, just buy a USP compact.
>>65254102USP .45Kimber Warrior DS (.45 2011) FNX .45 but I don’t trust any FN pistol
>>65254777one is made by White Orthodox Christians in Europe, another is made by turkish roaches working in sweatshops.
>>65254102USP or FNX45 are probably the best and most modern full-sized .45s available now.>>65254173Anon, if OP is ready to spend upwards of $1200, then you can at least recommend a 1911 in that range, rather than a cheap budget one from Turkiye.
>>65254949That's not a subcompact. Interesting that you didn't post a photo of YOUR Fatboy as though you don't have any photos of it.
>>65255508Ask and ye shall receive.
>>65255320you're not making it any less funny you gay man, lmfao
>>65255338DO NOT get an FNX-45. Their polymer sucks camel dick, snaps right in front of the trigger guard or deletes it altogether. They also void your warranty if you use a suppressor but sell it with a threaded barrel. FN is weird sometimes.
>>65255823>They also void your warranty if you use a suppressor but sell it with a threaded barrel. FN is weird sometimes.HK also does this if you do not use the 1 approved suppressor
>>65254102USP or FNX-45 Tactical if you’re ok with ginormous pistols. HK45CT if you want something you could still reasonably EDC.
>>65255508How is it not a subcompact? It's smaller than a commander, and the only ones I can think of smaller are the not-quite-1911 Sigs in .380 and 9
>>65257324Not him, but the Detonics Combat Master is smaller than that thing.
IMO, anything with a full, or close to full grip, like on that other 1911, just isn't a sub-compact at all, and the Detonics Combat Master is the only actual 1911 I can think of which would fit the definition of a sub-compact pistol.I would not really call a typical Commander 1911 a compact pistol either, just because those are always a full length grip (and often a full length frame even), just with a slightly shorter barrel and slide.
>>65257561>>65257571The Detonics isn't smaller other than the grip length, they're both the same barrel length. Its rear sight was moved up to give it a smaller appearance and shorter sight radius. Instead of shaving off rounds from a single stack for grip length, you get five more with the Fatboy. This is a Colt New Agent officer's size which is subcompact right next to it. The ATI Fatboy was designed to be the same width as a full size 1911 (same as both the Detonics and New Agent).
>>65257755>other than the grip lengthPretty fucking big difference in grip length.>Instead of shaving off rounds from a single stack for grip length, you get five more with the Fatboy.Yes, but that still doesn't make for a sub-compact.
>>65258173Nigga, Ruger, Remington, Kimber, Springfield, Colt and Smith and Wesson --need I go on? Say it's a subcompact 1911. I'm sorry that they don't play by your rules that you just made up yesterday based on manufacturer that doesn't even exist anymore.
