what weapons are used to protect a nuke SGT?
Yeah
>>65256611whatever fits in the swarm of humvees and black SUVs that surround them in traffic (defeating the whole point of carrying shit in regular looking unmarked other than the obvious armored windows semi trucks now)also probably bigger guns. miniguns? maybe RPGs, maybe orbital bombardment platforms. idk, it's the fucking department of energy, when nukes are involved i'm pretty sure they'll use anything short of a nuke themselves>The NNSA has advised local law enforcement to "take cover" in the event they signal an incorrect countersign to NNSA personnel when attempting to provide aid during a threat incident.[2]
>>65256611Self destruction. It's the only way to be sure.
>>65256611The driver is very good at defensive driving and may even have a valid CDL.
>>65256640It gets weirder: Allegedly some of these trucks have automated defenses in case the original crew gets merc'd. Some real James Bond shit the DoE has.
the nuke>fuck with me and we all die
>>65256973good point
>>65256973>>65257600Fucking retards, I said it first.
>>65257606you didn't mention "nuclear" self destruction tho
Some guns. Pistols definitely, sub machineguns likely.
Got a buddy that works at Fort chaffee. Basically they got an suv with dudes in the front and back with rifles. They're also rigged to explode if compromised so those guys tell them to stay the hell away from those trucks in general when theyre out there training.
>>65256611Allegedly, the nuke trucks have cutting charges to destroy their axles so they can't be driven/towed, super-sticky barrier foam that can fill the interior compartments (which would kill anyone engulfed), and the usual bulletproof armor, tear gas, and a platoon size group of armed guards etc outside who are known to carry jammers, miniguns and Mk19 40mm AGLs.Plus some shoot-first legal authorities, Apaches and drones on overwatch, and more.
>>65257779>super-sticky barrier foam that can fill the interior compartments (which would kill anyone engulfed),We Mega-City One now?
i wonder if they have all this james bond gadget shit on nuclear trains in shit in china, russia, north korea?
>>65257754>They're also rigged to explode if compromisedWhy would anyone want to contaminate a wide area with plutonium?
>>65257957it's easier for the DoE to clean up, or at least cordon off, an area that they've contaminated themselves and know how far it went and where it went than someone else blowing it up not on purposeit sounds like bullshit and i'm just guessing but apparently the nook spooks have one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world and all they do with it is simulate bombs going off
>>65257957More than likely it's a thermite charge, not an explosive, silly nonny.
has anyone even ever made an attempt at a nuke before?aren't PALs like undefeatable? I guess the raw plutonium would be useful.
